Sustainability Coordinator, Homeword Missoula, Montana, 2011-2012
Responsible for the oversight of Homeword’s energy systems, sustainability initiatives, and
outreach programs. This included the management of an organizational greenhouse gas
assessment, energy trend monitoring project, troubleshooting energy efficiency issues,
organizing a sustainable homes tour, and the development of an organizational sustainability
plan. This was a term position funded through the National Center for Appropriate Technology
(NCAT), Montana Energy Corps, and AmeriCorps.
Project Manager, Missoula Downtown Association Missoula, Montana, 2010-2011
Facilitated the development and compilation of a downtown building and business database.
Developed the database, conducted surveys and interviews, and inventoried downtown
infrastructure. GIS analysis, map composition, report generation, and presentation concluded
the project.
Land-Use Planner, City of Bozeman Bozeman, Montana, 2005-2008
Major responsibilities included project reviews for zoning compliance, building permit review
and processing, site plan review, and long-term planning. As the Department’s GIS
coordinator, I worked closely with the GIS Department on a variety of projects, including
administration of the City’s Land-Use Inventory, development of project and zoning maps, and
a variety of data analyses and interpretation. As a member of the Bozeman Climate Action
Plan task force, I assisted in the compilation of a Climate Action Plan for the City of Bozeman.
