Process Design... Worked with many plants as is models by reviewing the
BOM, Routing, work center to convert data into one of the many models used
by Pactiv or create new ones if needed. This required onsite surveys and
extensive review of the legacy data.
BOM & Routing setup... All legacy data had to provide necessary information
and scrubbing for data entry. This also required the use of CAPP tables or
QM quality data setup. Did all the configuration for Repetitive
manufacturing.
Site Lead... As the site lead had work with plant staff in executing the
hour by hour plan before the golive. Address any issues to the Project
manager. Reported daily progress to the team regarding the plant.
Trainer... Created documentation needed for training. This included the
manual with screen prints of transactions and how to use them. Did quick
help cards that were small enough to carry around to assist LTO lift truck
operator on commonly used transactions. Created a library of video for all
transaction for Manufacturing, scheduling and warehouse. The video
explained the process and any key information that needed to be provided to
user. The video library is provided to end user prior to golive and used
as a reference or refreshment video. All video was done using Camtasia
software. Have used Panaya software to create both test scripts and
documentation. All training was done onsite 1 week prior to golive with
support from the team for 3 weeks after golive.
Inventory Load... Used TxShuttle software to load all initial inventory
load in both PTP and LES system.
Post Golive Support... As the subject matter expert, I provided onsite
support for the plant I was site lead at and remote support to the other
plants. Post golive support last up to 1- 2 months with remote support and
if the need arise onsite support.
Business Lead... All project managers have a team of business leads in the
following areas (Sales, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Master Data,
Transportation, Customer Service, Procurement, and Finance). The business
leads are responsible for ensuring they team completes the task on the PM
task list in a timely matter. The business lead also reports in the weekly
status meeting what is going well and what needs attention. They are also
responsible for unit, integration, UAT testing and reporting any issues to
the team. Any issues or best practice is communicated to the team.
Role security setup... Will setup with roles needed to ensure user plant
specific transaction work. Work with the basis team in setup and testing.
