Career History & Selected Accomplishments
Churchill Group, LLC, a WOSB, 2013-Present.
Program Director, 2013-Present. Employee owned WOSB assisting small
businesses compete in the commercial and Defense markets. Delivering
focused proposal management, project management, proposal writing, market
strategies, pipeline development, healthcare supply chain management,
material management, technology integration, technology assessments.
Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), a defense & logistics
contractor, 2001-2013.
Program Director, 2012-2013. Captured and managed an $850M programs
pipeline in supply chain, training, readiness and logistics for the US
Marine Corps. Generated 50% growth. Received numerous awards for superior
performance.
Turned around a struggling program to win a $10.5M renewal. Concurrent
was in jeopardy of either a re-compete or total loss of a contract with
the Marine Corps. Working closing with key subcontractors, including CGI
Stanley, WBB and Innovative Reasoning, reengineered the two main
components of the program, Training Support Centers and Infantry
Immersion Training. Met or exceeded all KPIs. Received top marks from the
client, helping to secure a multi-year renewal.
Built a PMO for an $800M engagement. Concurrent needed to organize the
efforts of 30 companies, including URS, CSC and Northrop Grumman, as part
of a major DoD logistics support contract. Built a PMO from the ground
up. Deployed advanced project management, scheduling and communications
tools, including SharePoint. Led team briefings and managed deployment of
personnel across a multitude of assignments. Prepared project
documentation. Enabled a seamless integration of all strategic partners
into a cohesive team and an expedited kickoff of the program. As an
ancillary benefit, Concurrent received more than a dozen requests from
alliance partners to participate in new proposals and other programs.
Developed an innovative solution to boost Defense Logistics Agency
efficiency by double digits. The DLA sought Concurrent's expertise to
improve performance at its global distribution centers. Developed and
seamlessly integrated a customized RFID solution with existing warehouse
operations and system. Increased inbound receipt-to-stow efficiency by
60% and outbound shipping times by 40%.
Senior Director, 2010-2012. Held a series of roles in multiple business
units during a major reorganization. Developed a strategic roadmap for
leadership. Identified and integrated emerging technology innovations.
Achieved Top-Ten ranking business for development productivity,
consistently exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
Directed a major reorganization/OD initiative. To improve operational
agility, Concurrent was reorganizing into functionally matrixed
discipline groups. Tapped to lead revamping of the logistics group.
Developed an organizational development plan, including training and
career path strategies, as well as new compensation schemes. Deployed the
program, significantly enhancing the capabilities and professionalism of
the logistics group workforce.
Director, Logistics & Readiness Solutions, 2006-2010. Led the National
Aerospace Leadership Initiative (NALI), a collaboration between a
consortium of contractors, government, academics and the US Air Force.
Captured new contracts. Developed and implemented Lean supply chain
solutions and an innovative Autonomic Logistics Systems.
Founded an industry consortium to power new growth. Concurrent was
looking for ways to expand penetration of the commercial aerospace
sector. To strengthen branding and capture new opportunities, formed and
directed the National Aerospace Leadership Initiative (NALI), a
partnership among industry, government and academia. Briefed
congressional leadership on the synergistic value of the alliance.
Leveraging the branding power and heightened visibility of NALI, secured
new contracts in collaboration with industry leaders such as Pratt &
Whitney and Sikorsky.
Broke into the emerging autonomic logistics market, partnering with
Lockheed Martin. Looking to capitalize on innovative sensor solutions,
Concurrent wanted to capture new supply chain contracts. Leveraging the
capabilities of the technology, which enables real time tracking and
replenishment of all commodities even in war zone environments, built a
partnership with Lockheed Martin. Captured an $85M DoD five-year contract
for the installing and supporting the platform for the Marine Corps.
Tripled productivity to retain the F-35 Lightning program.
Concurrent/NALI small business partner Connecticut Center for Advanced
Technology (CCAT) was tasked with supporting small business Tier 1
suppliers supporting F-35 production with manufacturing and logistics
engineering services. One business was running behind plan on production
of engine cowls, risking contract loss and production delays for Lockheed
Martin. Developed process and plant floor layout improvements without
expending any capital. Increased output from one unit to as many as three
per day. Enabled small business to retain their contract and Concurrent
to capture $10M in new business.
Generated a more than ten-fold efficiency gain with powerful project
management platform. The Marine Corps needed to turnaround project
management inefficiencies at its logistics depots. Leading a
multidisciplinary team, developed the Marine Corps Master Schedule
Support Tool (MSST) to replace the legacy system. Launched a prototype in
only six month and the final release version in less than a year. The
system, which incorporates scheduling, Leveraging Lean improvements, the
USMC was able to save jobs and maintain productivity, avoiding base
closures..
Promoted from previous roles as Manager of Logistics Engineering and
Principal Logistics Analyst.
Developed an award-winning solution for a $500M supply chain. The DoD put
out an RFP for a Logistics Lifecycle Modernization Initiative for the
Marine Corps. Leading the bidding process for Concurrent, developed and
presented to winning bid for the $10M contract. Directed the Concurrent
team, which won the DoD Defense Information Officer Award for Innovation
for delivery of the software application to manage the USMC's global
spare parts, materials and equipment inventory.

Other experience: COO, Veterans Training Veterans, 2012. Recruited to help
launch a startup nonprofit.
Played a key role in startup of Veterans Training Veterans. Recruited as
COO (in a pro bono role) to prepare a business plan for new nonprofit
organization focused on provided training and job opportunities for
returning US combat veterans. Collaborated with U.S. Representative
Michael Bilirakis and his office to procure support from Congress. Helped
negotiate relationships with commercial/industrial enterprises to offer
training and internships, as well as to hire program participants.
Successfully launched the program, turning over operational
responsibilities to full-time management.

recipient of the Corporate Incentive Award.
In the United States Marine Corps: Two-time recipient of the Meritorious
Service Medal; three-time recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal; two-
time recipient of the Navy Achievement Medal; five-time recipient of the
Sea Service Deployment Ribbon; two-time recipient of the Joint Meritorious
Unit Commendation Humanitarian Assistance Ribbon; and a National Defense
Ribbon.
