Project Works
Research Project: Experimental methods of cooling of electronic equipment. Lead a team of three starting from
design to procuring materials, construction of the setup and conducting test runs with varying parameters to arrive at
the most efficient combination for cooling of a silicon chip prototype.
A study of annual building energy use: Used the principles of HVAC to develop a tool which analyzes the effect
of sol air temperature and shading on evaluation of building loads based on the degree day values.
Heat pipes in Micro-electronics packaging: Performed a thermal experiment to find the effectiveness of Vapor
chamber flat package heat pipe as a function of orientation relative to gravity.
Design of engineering experiments project: Performed a small house-hold experiment to obtain physical
experiment data and used the principles of design of engineering experiments to analyze data.
Robotic Projects – Lead 2 teams of five members to design and construct a Robotic arm with 3 Dof (improvement
on efficiency) and a window climber robot designed to aide humans in fire emergency.
Trough, Solar Thermal-to-Electric Power Plant with Thermal Storage-Used SWOT, FMEA, Requirements
Validation, IPDS, risk management, WBS, gnatt charts and labor loading charts to design solar trough plant
