Personal Statement

I am a highly motivated, responsible, hardworking individual with over 30

years of experience in the fields of education and customer service. I

have proven ability in organization and management. I utilize effective

written and oral communications. I am detail oriented and work to meet the

needs of my employer. I am seeking a position in the field of customer

service and relations, where I can bring my immediate value and strengths,

while continuing to develop my current skills.

Work Experience (Jan 1985 - Jun 2005)

Elementary Instructor

Howard Lake, Waverly, Winsted School District, Winsted, MN

My responsibilities included organizing and managing a self-contained

elementary classroom. I wrote detailed, daily lesson plans for student

instruction. I presented these lessons in whole group, small group, and

individual settings. I was responsible for the evaluation of student

progress, and the recording of this evaluation. I prepared quarterly

report cards and scheduled parent/teacher conferences in which to share

student progress.

Data Entry Associate (Oct 2006 - Jun 2010)

Young America Corporation, Young America, MN

I was responsible for entering data from customer billing statements

according to company guidelines.

Retail Manager (Mar 2011 - Jul 2011)

Carr Flowers Hutchinson, MN

I was responsible for setting up the cash register in the retail area

daily. I restocked the shelves daily, and was responsible for watering all

plants in the retail area. I assisted customers in product selection and

care instructions. I operated the cash register in customer check-out. I

prepared the final register documentation at the end of each day, and

prepared the cash drawer for the following days service.
