PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
PZ CUSSONS BEAUTY, New York, NY 04/14 – 12/14
Project Manager (contractor)
Lead a Warehouse relocation project that moved PZ Cussons North American Warehouse
from Valencia, CA to Edison, NJ. I managed all the documentation preparation
for both requirements and training for the new 3PL. I lead the weekly meetings
with the core team to make sure we identify any unforeseen risks and develop
contingency plans for the cutover to the new 3PL. We focused on an Agile
methodology due to the number new messages we were going to be receiving and
changes were made on the fly as needed. Included in this project were
enhancements to the current ERP system that were also thoroughly tested. This
project includes timing the inventory burn down at the current warehouse so as to
minimize the moving costs associated with the inventory move and the creating,
mapping and testing all the EDI messages to and from the Trading Partners. The
project completed on schedule and under budget.
