Design and Development of an 'Electric Cart', Module Project (2013)
. Designing and manufacturing of the model using CATIA V5.
. Importing the concept model to the analysis platform ANSYS, with the
prototype of the vehicle analysed for its structural strength and the
amount of impact load that can be withstood.
. This Electric cart uses the four 12 V, 44Ah lead acid automotive
starter battery as the main source of energy producing top speed of
20mph with two passengers on board which can be achieved in 9.9 sec.
Design of racing car 'Airbox', Volunteer Project for Brunel Motorsport
Racing Team (2013)
. Examined the existing airbox design, Understanding the malfunction in
previous design.
. Remodelling the existing airbox with several improved features.
. Modelling the new design in a 3D CAD system.
. Finally manufacturing the newly designed airbox with higher
efficiency.
Modelling and Fabrication of Split Die for manufacturing Powder
Metallurgical Parts, Module Mini Project (2010-2011)
. Standards for manufacturing a split die was investigated as per ASTM
Standard
. The Standard die was 3D modelled in Pro-E Wildfire 4 as per the ASTM
norms
. Stress analysis was done on 3D modelled die to determine strength of
the die for 500KN.
. Finally the die was machined, treated and finished in an EN-8
Material.
