Description:

The objective of this project is to convert the Branded bank portfolios in

CRS platform to TS2 platform. . However this standard project setup is

having the flexibility to add any variable process and execute as and when

required by multiple de-conversion projects.

The processes of this projects are:

Account selection: specific set of accounts under branded book orgs in CRS

will be selected based on the criteria provided by business stakeholders.

Account extraction: for the selected list of accounts, technology teams

will extract data from corresponding master files and historical files.

Financial reporting: various reports will be created for settlement and

financial balancing requirements. These reports will instrumental for

Conversion GO/NO-GO decision.

Tapes and transmission: extracted datasets will be compressed, encrypted

and transferred to destination processer using a secure media.

Account disposition: once the account have been converted over to TS2,

they will marked as closed in CRS and their balance will be removed, this

is to ensure that accounts are not serviced by CRS post conversion.

Description:

This is the part of June release project where we have modified the Posting

logic and baselined it .In the existing logic the when an account has a

current late fee and a prior late fee then the late fee is incorrectly

reversed for the customer.

When backed dated payment comes on an account to pay off the past due,

posting will generate an automatic late fee reversal transaction, As per

the previous system logic posting is only considering the manual late fee

reversal Transaction.

Description:

RAP team does reimbursement of the amount to the customer because of

several project changes that has happened before 1-HSBC release. RAP team

also does audits and population requests activity for the accts that are

supposed to have amounts reimbursed because of the project changes that has

happened before 1-HSBC release.

Basically it follows three steps.

1. Population: identifying the impacted list of accounts and the reason for

balance mismatch or any code issue.

2. Audit: After finding the issue we are fixing the issue by changing the

code and in account level we are auditing the impacted fields by feeding

ATUD.

3. Reimbursement: Due to any issue if the customer is wrongly charged then

we are calculating the payments done by customer and calculate the compound

interest for the wrongly charged amount and reimburse the respective

amounts to the customer.

. Responsible for prepairing IRD,BRD,FTD and JFD.

. As a team member invloving in complete analysis of the inceidents

Description:

One HSBC Card & Retail services is a project which involves in up gradation

of both card and retail services to a new platform and integration of both

card and retail systems to a single code base.

It was a challenge of sorts considering following factors

a) Migrating 80M accounts from existing WHIRL to OH.

b) Merging two different systems (CS and RS) into a single code base.

c) Involved globalizing around 60% of the total functionality.

d) Infrastructure challenges due to migrating USPLEX for production and

TKOPLEX for Development, also migration of Computer associates tools like

(Changeman/File-Aid/Expeditor) and HSBC Be Green Standard tools

(Endevor/File Manager/DebugAid).

After implementation of One HSBC complete NA (North America) cards would be

in control of one process, no need to run separate process for Card and

retail services.

The responsibilities included complete development for the entire software

life cycle.
