This is a contract role as a Senior Systems Engineer with VT-Group. My project here are currently center around a
company-wide email and spam filter migration to new environments built by myself, Netapp storage device
implementations, configurations, and disaster recovery backups, corporate file structures redesign and moves, and a
complete active directory redesign, migration and restructure. On a day to day basis I am responsible for many things to
include but not limited to exchange, virtualization, citrix, networks, servers, sql, and many other disciplines and
technologies.
Senior Systems Engineer 2013-2014
VeriFone
Worked as a Senior Systems Engineer for the Managed Services Organization here at VeriFone. I was involved in several
projects here to include but no limited building application environments for homegrown and turn-key applications for the
global organization. I implemented new imaging standards to include server 2012 deployments and deployed several SQL
2012 clusters. We also worked on a complete disaster recovery project for our environment that is a ground up build in a
new location to back-up our current location. I was in charge of a complete and new Systems Center Configuration
Manager 2012 implementation complete with the Orchestrator workflow pieces. I implemented an entire backup solution
consisting of a CommVault front end and a EMC storage back-end. I was also instrumental in a complete biz-talk

This was a contract role as a Senior Systems Engineer with VT-Group. This role focuses on storage, messaging,
virtualization, active directory, migrations, servers, and many other IT related items and technologies. Currently my
projects here include but are not limited to a companywide exchange and active directory migration, virtualization
migrations and new builds, SQL server migrations and upgrades, storage upgrades and new additions, and more. I handle

Senior Systems Administrator 2011-2012
TEK Systems
A six month contract role for TEK Systems as a Senior Platform Engineer that focusses on VMware, CommVault backup
solutions, storage solutions and hardware, server operating systems, physical to virtual conversions, data center
relocations and design, and all platform services for a 20,000 person company. I have completed many tasks since my
arrival here to include but not limited to a 200 server physical to virtual migration, multiple system upgrades and new
architectures, monitor upgrades and configurations (SCOM), new storage implementations and reconfigurations of current
storage, a complete disaster recovery project with SRM and many others. Previously I contracted for TEK Systems as a
Senior Systems Administrator in charge of over 300 virtualized windows servers and am in charge of the VM environment
that host another 200 unix servers. My responsibilities include but are not limited to the day to day maintenance and
upkeep of vCenter, vShere, and vCenter Heartbeat. I also am in charge of corporate monitoring, helpdesk, patching,
antivirus, configuration, and CMDB utilizing Manage Engine IT360, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and SCCM
(Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager with WSUS and Forefront). In this role I am also in charge of Active
Directory to include GPO's.
Senior Systems Engineer/Administrator 2010 - 2011
18Th Judicial District, District Attorney’s Office
I was the Senior Systems Administrator at the DA’s office currently in charge of the datacenter, servers, WAN/LAN
network, backups, security, and core applications. Since my arrival here I have upgraded the domain to a full Windows
Server 2008 R2 environment. I have replaced all the domain controllers in the environment. I have also rebuilt the entire
network here consisting of Cisco routers, switches, ASA’s and wireless components. I have implemented many different
applications and tools to include Symantec Endpoint Protection and Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 with the
WSUS, SCOM, SCCM and Virtual Machine Manager Components. With these tools I have also designed a virtual
platform with Microsoft Hyper-V and have made many physical servers virtual maximizing space and power, while also
monitoring, patching, and delivering software. I have also implemented a Websense security appliance that monitors and
restricts web access along with scanning traffic for viruses and spam. I am currently working on a Microsoft SharePoint
implementation for the office that will be an imaging system allowing the office to try and go fully paperless. This
implementation includes not only SharePoint but also includes a Streem faxing solution and a Xerox Smart Document
Travel Solution Along with this software I am implementing the hardware for it to perform on, this includes a fiber
channel two NetApp SAN’s with a Microsoft Sql cluster attached. On top of all of this I have a CommVault Simpana 9
install going in of which I am utilizing the back-up, email archiving, and index pieces of to ensure data loss is kept at a
minimum to none. I have also recently completed the build of a Team Foundation Server for the two developers here.

Fidelity Investments ProBuild Holdings Inc.
While at Fidelity Investments ProBuild Holdings Inc., I held many positions the last on being the Senior Service Engineer
in charge of services in use by the end users and our helpdesk. These systems include but are not limited to our Altiris
environment, anti-virus environment, desktop imaging, and laptop encryption. I have architected and built our current
Altiris environment which includes deployment and notification servers. This also includes patch management, software
delivery, asset management, helpdesk services, inventory, remote management, and desktop standardization. In my time at
ProBuild I have been in charge of day to day desktop support and our helpdesk. This consisted of managing two desktop
support personnel and two helpdesk personnel. In my first twelve months the new office grew from a seven machine
workgroup to a domain controlled twelve server, ninety desktop and laptops, and thirty printers’ environment. I purchased,
installed, configured and supported these pieces of equipment. The servers consist of domain controllers, file servers, print
servers, IIS servers, back-up servers, virus protection servers, WSUS servers, SCCM (built, maintained and supported),
SCOM (built and implemented along with custom monitoring), application servers with IIS, terminal services, ISA servers
and VMware Servers. I also installed the network which consists of Cisco routers and switches, a Juniper ssl/vpn
appliance, five T1’s for connectivity and a closet with patch panels and wiring. I have developed a helpdesk ticketing
system, a standard system for new hires to receive equipment, and have assisted in developing a change management
process. I also have been an integral part in a team effort here to build a new collocated data center. My team and I have
been working the last year on the design, equipment selection, location in the Denver area, presentation to upper
management, and budgeting of a tier II data center collocated here in the Denver area. Some of my other responsibilities
here have included, consulting on a companywide email system, active directory design, group policy implementation,
system administrator, and helpdesk/support technician.

At Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc, I was in charge of all technology for two of sixteen offices. The larger of the two offices
had approximately 85 users and 120 pieces of equipment. This was a LAN/WAN environment, in which I purchased,
installed, configured, upgraded, and supported several Windows servers including Active Directory Support, many
desktops, and many laptops, hardware and software. I was also in charge of back-ups, printers, wireless, copy machines,
wide format printing, A/V products, and a VOIP phone system. Some specific hardware and software titles were
Microsoft Windows Server 2003, 2000, and NT; ISA Server; SUS Server; IIS, Terminal Server, Exchange Server; Live
Communications Server, Share Point Server; Worksite; Windows Vista, XP, 2000, NT; Office 2007, 2003, XP, and 2000
including Outlook; Dell; Nortel; Cisco; HP; OCE; daily back-ups with CA Brightstor Arcserve, and AutoDesk. The
second office at Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. was the same just with only about 10 users and 20 pieces of equipment. I
also participated in many corporate projects with our headquarters in Watertown MA. These projects consisted of but were
not limited to companywide AutoCAD upgrades, CA Unicenter Systems Management software for software delivery and
equipment tracking, Windows Vista beta testing for corporate software and future company upgrade, WAN configuration,
