PROJECTS AND SEMINAR

1. Project of Final year (BE) :-

"Discovering, Locating and Preventing Wireless MAC Spoofing Attacks".

Front End: -JAVA

Back End: -MY-SQL

Description:-The objective of project is to propose a new algorithm in

order to prevent the multiple MAC spoofing attacks as well as

detecting and localizing them in a wireless network.

The detection as well as localization is carried out by excluding the

cryptographic methods and taking into consideration the Received

Signal Strength (RSS) parameters.

The proposed prevention method prevents the attack by neglecting the

data requests from the attacker having the same MAC Address as that of

the trusted user while allowing the trusted user to access the data

thereby reducing the overall traffic as well.

2. A mini project on "Online Book Shopping".

Description: - The objective of project is to provide online sale of

books as well as managing the transactions online and maintaining its

database in the back end.

3. A mini project on "Society Management System".

Front End: - VB 6.0

Back End: - Oracle 9i

Description:-The objective of project is to develop a software that

maintains the details of the members of the society and managing the

transactions and maintaining its database in the back end.

4. Seminar on "Light Fidelity (Li-Fi)".

Description: - Li-Fi is a VLC, Visible Light Communication, technology

developed by a team of scientists. The main aim of Li-Fi is to

transmit data through light emitted by the LED's. In other words, our

LED bulb will act as a Wi-Fi router but transmit the data in the form

of light.
