Work assignments carried out for the Procurement Supply Chain Management Data Team

Review and process materials and parts master requests for engineering and non-engineering

components used in exploration, drilling, completion and Artificial lift systems.

Training and support on material and parts creation to internal customers working on drilling and

completions projects led by the company.

Identify data issues and concerns about materials, parts and components related to the assembly

Risk engineering lead – SANTOS CMI Houston, TX May 2011 – Jul 2012

Technical-Financial Management for the power generation ‘Peaky Project’, budgeted for a total

expenditure of $77MM.

Worked closely with all relevant stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, construction,

human resource, logistic, finance and corporate management.

Critical path analysis included technical, commercial, logistics and operative aspects.

Mitigation plan was proposed to overcome key project challenges. Implementation was

accomplished thru different IT and statistical applications.

System architecture was devised for IT system, including the Internet Server.

Assessed IT and Telecommunication contractors to ensure technical specification, budget and

schedule was met. Activity included the interface with project management and contracting and

procurement team.

Negotiated terms and conditions for main IT and telecommunication contractors, including

mobilization and demobilization to site.

Production Coordinator – Pepsicola Venezuela Jul 2005 – Jul 2008

Successfully led turnkey solution for the TETRA PAK technology manufacturing line, which

included a whole new juice presentation PepsiCo Venezuela.

Managed the soft drink 5-line production plant; implementing a continuous improvement

approach, which led to a 15% increase in throughput.

Continuous customer support to define optimum delivery schemes to optimize further production.

Implemented QA/QC process to improve HSSE performance. This involved training over 80

people, including operation and maintenance personnel.

Established plant productivity baseline.

Responsibilities included KPI definition and data-entry process to SAP MM.

Coordinated third party contractors to fulfill relevant maintenance activities, including SAP

Gap Analyst – Pepsicola Venezuela Feb 2004 – Jun 2005

Implement methodology to determine baseline productivity (benchmark world wide with

others PepsiCo Plants) and a continuous improvement process for a bottling plant in

Caucagua, PepsiCo Venezuela

Achieve levels of productivity from 45% to 90% in a year period reducing substantially

downtimes occurred during the manufacturing process

Mitigate downtimes through the Sig Sigma methodology

Consolidate the communication channels between the departments involved on

manufacturing process

Develop the Gap Analyze Methodology (DMAIC) to the manufacturing process, fitting this

for two different industrial process

Responsibilities included Gap Analysis, IT platform architectural design and integration with

Field Engineer - Omicron Feb 2002 – Mar 2003

Field engineer specialized in multi-phase flowmeter, flow computers and RTU’s installation,

commissioning and troubleshooting.

Led bid process to provide 1000 flow computers to Halliburton via HB joint venture in 2002.

Supported the IT and telecommunication upgrade project aim to improve customer services. Task

included installation and commissioning of multiple servers and wireless communication

infrastructure.

Instrument Engineer – Reelvensa Jul 2001 – Jan 2002

Control system and SCADA detailed design, installation and start-up of ‘Alturitas II’ flow station.

Automation included water treatment and injection control and monitoring. Customer BP

Holding Limited, Venezuela.

Design, installation, configuration and programming of Allen Bradley PLC based control system.

Integration included Panelview HMI, Scada Wonderware Intouch. Work was part of thesis

dissertation for undergrad studies.

Commissioning and start-up of RTU based network, integrated to existing SCADA system and

Central Control Room. RTUs were intended to monitor and control remote water injection

facilities.
