SPECIAL Currently working as the Weston Solutions, Inc.

QUALIFICATIONS: Corporate Environmental Compliance and Health & Safety

Manager responsible for the development,

implementation, and maintenance of all associated EHS

programs and policies companywide.

I have over 25 years of proven professional safety leadership and work

experience successfully developing, implementing, and managing complex

Environmental Compliance, Health and Safety (EHS) programs, policies, and

procedures for internal and external clients worldwide. Through strong EHS

leadership and professional safety technical support, resilient and growing

interdependent safety cultures were developed which are recognized by core

clients as a business discriminator. These achievements were the direct

result of identifying and empowering key subject matter expert safety teams

and committees across the organization, charged with the goal of continual

safety culture improvement by focusing on proactive safety actions,

reducing and eliminating employee injuries and consistent application of

safety program elements at all levels of the organization. Initial

targeted areas for improvement were dangerous goods shipping, driving,

ergonomics, new employee safety, regulatory compliance, incident

prevention, and safety training. The resulting work products that emerged

include Weston's New Employee Orientation, Training, and Mentorship

program, Weston's Safe Driving Program, High Risk Ergonomic Program, and

others, significantly reducing Weston's DOT citations and intervention

score, a 50% reduction in OSHA recordable injuries, a 50% reduction in

worker compensation cases, 75% reduction in preventable automobile

accidents, 1005 reduction of ergonomic injuries, 100% reduction of new

employee injuries, and zero regulatory compliance citations. More

recently, program specific teams were developed to implement revised

guidance documents specifically for managing occupational medical

monitoring issues associated with the EPA Biowatch and USACE UXO related

projects, developing a safe and sustainable approach for employees

responding to Ebola Virus Disease contaminated locations, and

implementation of innovative administrative tools to accurately manage

medical exams, respirator fit test results, employee training, industrial

hygiene monitoring results, as well as all company EHS programs, resources,

and locations.

As the Corporate EHS Manager, I am currently responsible for all aspects of

the incident management process to include leading investigation teams, the

identification of root causes, implementing corrective actions, and

developing positive and negative trend analysis. The information obtained

during the investigation effort is communicated to management and safety

teams using a multi-media approach which includes quarterly newsletters,

emails, and community activity blogs. I have an in-depth understanding of

common environmental laws which include the Resource Conservation and

Recovery Act (RCRA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation,

and Liability Act (CERCLA), Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know

Act (EPRCA), Toxics Substances Control Act (TSCA), Clean Water Act (CWA),

Clean air Act (CAA) and more. I partner with all levels of management to

provide strategic planning guidance in anticipation of future and evolving

business needs. Examples of this guidance include the O&G client

requirement for the implementation of an incident intervention program,

revision of Weston's Bloodborne Pathogen Program to include potential

exposure to Ebola in the workplace, providing a brief to senior and

executive management regarding near term OSHA regulation changes and the

potential impact to business operations, the development and distribution

of significant revisions to the USACE EM 385-1-1, and focusing resources

on effective incident prevention methods in an effort to reverse a rising

EMR. Additional responsibilities include the development and implementation

of employee education and training programs, internal FLD and external RAV

programs, safety risk management evaluations mitigation controls,

comprehensive personal protection equipment programs and, and occupational

medical programs application.

I actively participated on various focus growth committees, providing

recommendations for EHS improvement for internal and external clients

programs to both senior and executive management. These recommendations for

improved performance are in accordance with company vision and mission as

well as current regulation, acts, and established principles and practices

of recognized occupational safety organizations such as OSHA, EPA, NIOSH,

ACGIH, and ASTM. I have had the opportunity to manage EHS operations for

various business units, client initiatives, and offices across the United

States, Asia, and the Middle East since 1997, providing me with the unique

opportunity to develop key relationship with management, safety

professionals, and their clients across the world. Having more than 25

years of safety leadership experience working on U.S. Army Corps of

Engineer (USACE) contracted projects have also allowed me an opportunity to

develop an extensive network of federal safety professionals, further

refining my regulatory knowledge and leadership abilities.

CURRENT EHS MANAGER DUTIES

As the current Corporate EHS Manager and senior safety professional, my

primary responsibilities are to provide the necessary leadership to help

each employee work safely, without fear of injury, minimize or eliminate

EHS related liability to the organization, and to ensure that our EHS

programs are in compliance with all internal and external regulations,

directives and laws. Additional EHS responsibilities include providing

senior-level leadership and technical support for all offices and projects

including horizontal and vertical construction, FUELS program maintenance

and repair, HTRW investigation and remediation efforts, MMRP surveys and

disposal, natural resource management, disaster response, and emergency

response efforts for federal, commercial/ industrial, Oil and Gas, and

various private clients worldwide.
