Human Resources Department
Hello, my name is Adrienne Parker; a 2012 graduate from Chicago State
University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health. I have recently been
looking for an opportunity to do more direct counseling. I am able to
provide quality mental health care using skills in assessment, diagnosis,
and treatment planning.
I have worked in various settings with diverse populations and individuals
with dual diagnoses. I currently work in the Ingalls Hospital Behavioral
Health Dept doing Assessments and Referrals. I enjoy what I do; the
environment is fast paced and it has allowed me to learn a lot about next
level and continuity of care. However, it does not allow the therapeutic
rapport that's developed as a result of consistent ongoing counseling and
therapy.
I am comfortable with all ages and backgrounds, but I also have a
particular interest in working with youth. I have worked as a clinician in
CPS facilitating groups as well as counseling students individually. I have
years of experience working with minors with special needs, behavioral
disorders, depression, drug/alcohol abuse, and other sociocultural issues.
My professional ambitions are to obtain my LCPC and MISA I certification.
My position as a mental health counselor is registry so my schedule is
flexible. My resume furnishes you with a few helpful details of my work
history and references can be provided upon request. Please take a few
moments to review my qualifications. With the anticipation that you are
interested in interviewing an applicant with my background, please contact
me so that we can arrange a personal interview in the near future.
Professional Organizations: Illinois Counseling Association (ICA). American
Counseling Association (ACA).
Thank you in advance for your consideration...
