US ARMY ( Ft. Benning, Georgia ( 6/2011 to Present
Chief of Staff Reserve Component Affairs
Advised Commanding General on all issues involving the Army National Guard
and US Army Reserve. Accountable for morale, welfare and discipline for
more than 3,500 personnel. Ensured relevant issues were managed and Reserve
Component was represented for all aspects of maneuver warfare.
Achievements:
. Created retention policies and procedures that achieved a loss rate of
less than 5%, below Army standard of 20%.
. Lead development and update of 50 programs in conjunction with the
proponent leads, National Guard Headquarters, and National Guard.
Developed a process allowing instructors at the training sites to modify,
review and approve the subject matter and work directly with proponent
leads streamlining the process. Saved government millions of dollars in
travel and lodging expenses.
. Developed events for National Guard and Reserve Component leadership from
all 50 states and four territories to participate in Maneuver Warfighter
Conference. Invited guest speakers and ensured they would be instrumental
in the conference. More than 140 Guard leaders attended and played major
roles in developing proposals.
US ARMY EUROPE ( Heidelberg, Germany ( 4/2009 to 6/2011
Division Chief Mobilization and Reserve Affairs
Directed international security programs Planned and oversaw mobilization,
deployment, and mission execution of Reserve Component forces in Europe.
Advised Commander of US Army Europe on all aspects of deployment and
utilization of reserve forces.
Achievements:
. Developed a program where 12 man teams deployed in support of partner
nations of Eastern Europe to Afghanistan to train Afghan Army and Police.
Increased involvement of partner nations by deploying 23 teams in two-
year period. Decreased requirement for US Forces to conduct the mission
by thousands of personnel.
. Provided overseas deployment training for the Reserve Component.
Developed a program where small units of 100 to 200 deployed to Europe to
support US Army Europe. Provided units with engineer equipment, dozers,
graders, lodging and managed all aspects of soldier welfare. Completed
several construction projects at training sites that provided permanent
facilities for US and multi-national forces. Saved more than $9 million
in construction cost.
. Managed the National Guard State Partnership Program in Europe. Worked
with 22 states and 22 European nations. Developed military and civilian
training projects, built partner capacity, improved international
relations.
US ARMY NATIONAL GUARD HQ ( Alexandria, Virginia ( 7/2008 to 3/2009
Branch Chief Combat Training Centers and Domestic Operations
Planned, programmed and budgeted training for Army National Guard brigades
and supporting units to train at the
National Training Center, Joint Readiness Training Center and the
Exportable Training Center. During hurricane crisis
of 2008 led the Domestic Operations Branch, which included: directing,
planning programming and acquiring funding for the National Guard response
to the crisis.

Achievements:
. Provided planning and oversight in deployment of troops, equipment and
support from 20 states to hurricane affected areas in Alabama,
Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Provided over 10,000 soldiers,
helicopters, airlift, engineer equipment, and transportation equipment,
which allowed a quick response to the disaster.
. During 2008 Presidential Inauguration planned and executed deployment of
National Guard contingency operations HQ and provided staff and
reactionary force protection for the 2008 Presidential Inauguration.
Event went as planned without incident. Selected and promoted to the rank
of Colonel for achievements.
US ARMY FIRST ARMY ( Ft. Stewart, Georgia ( 8/2006 to 7/2008
Deputy Commander/Executive Officer
Lead mobilization, training, and deployment for Reserve Component
supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Just Cause. Provided pre-
mobilization training, mentorship, policy and directives to deploying units
prior to arrival at the mobilization installation. Served as Deputy
Commander and Chief of Staff for training brigade.
Achievements:
. Developed an Internet based program for mobilizing units of the Reserve
Component to use to plan, conduct and record training prior to arriving
at the MOB station. Reduced requirement of training to be conducted at
the Mobilization Station, which decreased training period from 120 to 60
days. Saved Army millions of dollars and reduced resource requirements.
. Faced a situation of not enough Mobilization Stations to train required
number of mobilizing Reserve Component forces. Developed Mobilization
Station at Ft. Stewart. Built infrastructure, upgraded facilities and
ranges, constructed training lanes and FOBs. Developed schedule to train
up to 3500 soldiers every 60 to 75 days. Completed Mobilization Station
in 35 days. Allowed Army to ramp up deployments to meet increased
requirement.
US ARMY ( Baghdad, Iraq ( 5/2004 to 7/2006
Battalion Commander
Lead the mobilization, training, deployment and redeployment of the largest
National Guard unit in the state of Georgia. Conducted combat operations,
convoy security, election security, and construction projects in and around
Bagdad Iraq.
Achievements:
. Mobilized and deployed to combat zone. Lead development and
implementation of a training program and mobilization plan to deploy an
infantry battalion of 850 soldiers and $150 million in equipment to Iraq
and to conduct combat operations in a war zone. Deployed to Mobilization
Station, trained and certified the battalion for combat. Conducted combat
operations for 12 months in the Bagdad area. Maintained 100%
accountability of all equipment and personnel. Performed mission above
standard.
. Provided security at the 2004 G-8 Summit at Sea Island, Georgia. Lead
battalion providing outer ring security for the President of the United
States and other dignitaries attending the G-8 conference. Worked with
Secret Service, FBI, Coast Guard, and other security forces. Recognized
by several senior leaders and by the President for superior performance
of the battalion.
ARAMARK/SERVICEMASTER ( Americus, Georgia ( 3/1999 to 4/2004

Provided leadership, management and advice to Habitat for Humanity at their
Worldwide Headquarters. Served as Habitats Director of Operations with
oversight over facilities management, facilities engineering, grounds
maintenance, mail processing, housekeeping, commercial construction,
warehousing, and distribution.

included routine and scheduled services for all equipment and facilities.
