Assisted in the establishment of nuclear defense measures pertaining to military unit’s standard

operating procedures (SOP). Trained Army units on when and where they should wear protective
Bio-hazard suits.
Provided training and advice on chemical and biological operations on the Joint Biological Point

Detection System (JBPDS). The JBPDS provides automatic detection and identification of
airborne biological agents at very low levels, triggers local and remote warning systems, and
communicates threat information over standard communication systems.
