Sand Screen Machine Operator March 2012- January 2015
• Check the machine for notes for the job that needs to be completed.
• Check and read the router for the size of pipe that is going to be wrapping.
• Move pipe with overhead crane to the working station to be mark and prep.
• Read the blueprint to get the type of wire that is going to be use for the job and also the
• Measurements for the wrap length. Read and understand the gauge that is needed for the job.
• Measure the starting point and the ending of the wrap. Gather the outer ring and inner ring to be preheated
that goes on the starting point of the wrap
• Set settings on machine to the proper specifications from the blueprint, troubleshoot
• Test about a foot of wrapping and check with feeler gauge to make sure the screen is within
• Tolerance. After the screen is completed, I will move the screen to be inspected by QC.

• Gather the wrap wire and rib wires needed to satisfy the material requirements.
• Read the router and blueprint to get the size of pipe that is going to be wrapped.
• Move the pipe to the machine with the overhead crane.
• Read the blueprint for measurements and gauge that is going to be use on the screen.
• Measure and prep the pipe on the machine to be tested. Set welding control at the percentage
• of the heat required from the blueprint.
