OBJECTIVE I would like to find a position here with a company that I can make my home, and
retire from one day. I love my field of work and what I do, as well as have a strong
work ethic, so working full time with overtime is a plus. I would like to be able to put all
my skills and knowhow to work and be an indispensable asset to my employer. I
would like to constantly be able to learn and grow within the company. Finding a
permanent position with an outstanding company would allow me to do a job I love, in

EXPERIENCE FITTER/WELDER/SHIFT SUPERVISOR RND CONTRACTORS FONTANA
5/27/14- current 20.00 hr. lots of overtime
I was hired as a lead welder/ fitter, within the first month they fired my supervisor and
gave me his job. It is a second shift position with a crew of about 10. However, being
that this company is in a growing stage and it doesn’t seem that management has
prepared themselves properly for this growth, there are a lot of defects in their
system. The bottom line is, I am not happy where I am at, and am looking to relocate
to a better working environment
FITTER/WELDER THE ROBERTS COMPANY (NORTH CAROLINA)
4/2011-1/1/2014 22.50 HR + LOTS OF O.T
Originally hired as a welder, my skills as a fitter/fabricator were quickly recognized
and put to use, as fitters were in higher demand. About a year and a half after being
hired on, I was given a crew leader position. I currently have a crew varying from 4 to
8 workers that work beside me building various types of vessels from the ground up.
The Roberts company is an ASME code shop which builds pressure vessels for
companies in industries such as pharmaceutical, paper manufacturing, and silicone
product process to name a few. I obtained my 2G and 3G ASME GMAW certifications
with this company. I am currently a member of the companies’ safety committee as
we are striving to obtain the OSHA “star” program status.
WELDER AMFAB INC. (NEW MEXICO)
3/15/08-11-27-09
After taking a trip to New Mexico, I accepted a job offer with Amfab Inc. This company
builds (in house) the structural beams for buildings such as casinos, hospitals, and
high rise buildings using AISC standards. Here I obtained my AISC certification with a
1G GMAW weld test. Some of the beams we constructed were used on building
meeting earthquake code standards. At this company I worked on projects such as:
the crazy horse casino in Reno, NV, the City hotel and casino in Las Vegas, and

various university of Utah hospital expansions to name a few.
FITTER/FABRICATOR CARVER MACHINE WORKS (NORTH CAROLINA)
4/15/98-3/5/08
I started at carver as an entry level metal worker. I spent 2 years in the
grinding/finishing shop where we prepared metal for welding, and once the parts
made their way through the various processes came back to our shop for final
finishing before being shipped to the customer. Some of my duties in the finishing
shop were: grinding, liquid epoxying, polishing, painting, sandblasting, and steam
cleaning. Once I felt that I had learned all I could in this shop, I applied for an opening
in the fabrication dept. I felt I could really advance and gain a lot more skill here. After
acquiring this position, I signed up at a local community college to help me get my
welding skills going. The class I took was an entry level stick welding class (which we
didn’t do a lot of at carver), so after completing my projects for the class I would
switch over to the tig and mig machines to get practice with weld types that we more
commonly used in the shop. I also completed a few other classes while with carver
such as ISO 9000, and blueprint reading. I was also a member of Carvers’ safety
committee. I gained a wide array of skill while with Carver machine. I feel that they
helped prepare me for my future as a fitter/welder.

COMMUNICATIO As crew leader at work, I head up morning gang box safety meetings before we start
N our work day to discuss safety issues and any needed topics. I was also previously
President of an automotive club a few years back, and would be in front of the club
discussing issues and upcoming events. Some of this may fall in the leadership
category also.
LEADERSHIP In the position I hold at my current job, I have to keep up with a crew of workers which
are all building various parts to complete a vessel or project. I feel that I do my job
well since I still hold that title. Knowing how to talk to co-workers and how to treat
others goes a long way in my book!
