Project : KPMG IBS Duration December 2008 to till

date

Project Description: The main objective of the project was to meet

two primary tracks: Global Template (GT) and Global Information Store

(GIS). The Global Template track contains two primary components:

1.Process definition of globally agreed processes relating to Client,

Opportunity and Engagement Management, Human Capital Management,

Finance, Reporting, Strategy and Planning.

2.The technology to support an on-line solution to automate the

agreed processes, including configuration capabilities to allow for

variations.

To develop such a complicated solution for global template Webdynpro

ABAP is used to create the frontend for KPMG. As a offshore lead my

primary task was to control all the offshore developments,to check

the QC, to deliver in time.

Role Description: 1. Requirements Gathering: Understand the technical

requirements by going through the functional specifications documents

and with inputs from Business (Functional) analysts and participate

in creating high level estimate as well as translating the same to

systems requirements in order to create a systems requirements

documents and participate effectively in the design, development and

testing phases of the project.

2. Design: Do impact analysis, participate in high level design,

create technical (design) specifications as per the high level

design, and create unit test plans for complex programs in order to

develop / validate / maintain the application as per the

requirements.

3. Development: Develop and review Artifacts (Code, Documentation,

Unit test scripts) conduct reviews for self and peers, conduct unit

test and document unit test results for complex programs in order to

build the application and make It ready for validation /delivery.

4. Implementation: Participate in creating the implementation plan as

per the project level quality plan and work on go live activities as

per the Implementation plan in order to make the applications

production ready without any issues.

5. Production Support: Respond to the issues assigned, do analysis,

participate in estimating the needed to implement solution or work

around, suggest/ implement work around, communicate to all the stake

holders and close the issue as per the agreed timelines in order to

ensure support availability as per agreed SLAs

6. Training: Provide project based training on different technical

skills (ABAP, Webdynpro) to the fresher's (ILPs) and new project

members according to project's requirement.

7. Mentoring: Mentoring new project members and shadow resources to

get them acquainted with project work and clients requirements.

Project : BP One HR Duration June 2007 to till

December 2008

BP is an oil, gas, petrochemicals and renewable company employing

Project Description: The main objective of the project was to adopt a

single HR application for BP.As a senior member of team I was

developing e-forms for BP portal using java webdynpro and ABAP

webdynpro . Designed the architecture of BP webdynpro development.

Integration with workflow, and team viewer.

Support.

Project : Lenovo Portal Duration Dec 2006 till June 2007

Customer name: Lenovo.

Project Description: I have done, Creating the Roles based on

the users for the US team,, Securing portal access, securing

transactional iViews, Personalization of the Portal, which enabled

easy daily decision-making process, Created Roles activated them,

iViews and worksets.- Created systems and then tested all the

iViews for Different Business Packages.- Created systems like the

B/W System,.- Created the development of several roles and Iviews

in addition to it we have also used different portal services like

JSP, HTMLB,. All the development is carried out in EP6.Creation and

maintenance of access pages and users/content management Supporting

activities related to connectivity to SAP R3 systems through Portals

using SAP GUI for Windows and SAP GUI for HTML.

Project : O2E, (ABS, USA) Duration September 2005 to

August2006

Customer name: AMERICAN BUREAU OF SHIPPING (ABS).

Project Description: O2E is a web based application which makes

survey management easier and more efficient. Increased productivity

and more effective cost control flow from the ability to link

management, operations. Fully integrated modules helps sharing

information and allowing you to move rapidly from one to the other.

This is achieved by the portal based mechanism of single signOn. For

development j2ee,struts are used.

Role Description: responsible for designing, coding, testing, bug

fixing and documenting the Application

Project : Inner Vision Duration February 2005 to August

2005

Customer name: Vision Comptech

Project Description: It is basically an HRMS Project which maintains

jobs of various department based on ESS/MSS concept.

The development was done using the JSP/servlet .I was responsible

for designing, coding, testing, bug fixing and documenting the

Application.
