Production Manager

Directed all manufacturing operations related to the production of Flexographic/Digital labels

and products. Established operational policies and implemented process improvements to

ensure outstanding product quality and throughput. Directly managed five supervisors

overseeing 45 team members that represented the pre-press, flexographic, digital, quality and

the finishing/ shipping departments. Designed and implemented cross training programs to

develop team members and facilitate efficiency. Worked closely with engineering and product

development to ensure job requirements were in alignment with production capacity and

capabilities.

Encouraged a positive team environment that supported team member growth and continuous

improvement.

Selected Contributions:

Played integral role in achieving and maintaining TS-16949 certification. This allowed us

to substantially increase our automotive customer base while improving workflow and quality

throughout the plant.

Completed Executive Lean Manufacturing certification at MMTC.

Conducted a workflow study that identified large areas for efficiency improvement.

Presented a proposal with a budget and payback time period to upper management. This led to

large improvements in efficiency, quality and turn time.

Created a program to cross train and develop team members, which encouraged

their contributions and professional growth.

Production Supervisor

Oversaw all floor operations, worked very closely with the production team members to ensure

daily goals and objectives were met. Performed quality checks throughout the production

production departments to ensure customer needs, and production capabilities were in
