Charged with managing multiple service contracts totaling more than $30M
for packing and crating, military family housing maintenance, privatized
housing, and grounds maintenance. Handled all aspects of contract process
from initiation through negotiations and signing. Supervised and trained a
Contract Administrator in contracting process. Managed Squadron annual
operating budget of $24K.
U.S. Air Force, Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX - Contract Administrator (40
hours weekly) (6/2002 - 6/2004
Solely managed large projects. Executed all phases for a $1.9M 3-year
contract to provide all equipment, material, and labor for replacement of
the base's roads and parking lots. Developed appropriate RFP process and
complied ensured contract terms complied with fair labor laws.
o Managed 4 complex IT contracts valued at $6.2M.
o Negotiated a $154K IT support contract down to $83K, saving $71K and
obtaining faster and more reliable systems.
