Hennepin Technical College (HTC) and the experience gained through working in HTC
Customized Training Service’s Marketing department qualifies me for this position.
My position with CTS Marketing has given me experience with working on a variety of design
projects including large format design (trailer wrap), event collaterals (posters, signs, forms,
mailers, flyers, business cards), logo design, and web application design & updates in a fast
paced deadline driven environment working primarily with Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat,
Photoshop, PowerPoint and HTML.
In addition to my education, I would bring my dependability, adaptability, and organizational
skills to your company. These skills are the reason that I was employed by ADC
Telecommunications for 17 years. At this company I was promoted from an Assembler, where I
also served as a Backup Lineleader, to a Radio Frequency (RF) Technician, and from a RF Tech
to an Internal Auditor in the Quality Assurance department, which later transitioned into a
Quality Inspector position. During my time in the Quality Assurance department I audited
processes, inspected parts and created and implemented a documentation filing system into the
company’s calibration lab.

Technical College. Although Laura served in the position as a work study student, her talents and abilities far
exceeded that role. Laura successfully worked on a multitude of daily and weekly fast paced graphic and web
design projects which included collaborating with both staff and outside partners to create solid, on brand
design solutions for informational and promotional materials.
Laura not only worked expertly with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, but also served as a photographer for
several departmental events and photo shoots. She then incorporated her images into several high profile design
solutions, such as a graphic wrap for our mobile training trailer, which then received rave reviews.
