Directed the global IT Technical Services organization for DFS, a multi-billion dollar global luxury duty-free retailer.

Yearly budget responsibility of $18 million. Responsible for managing global data center operations, network and

telecommunications (WAN / LAN), server based applications (email, HR, finance, internet), POS and e-commerce

retail applications, desktop support, and helpdesk support. Managed a diversified staff of 65 located in 17 countries.

Delivered $3 million in savings by rightsizing the global IT infrastructure organization, renegotiating vendor

contracts, and outsourcing select functions to an offshore India-based firm.

Implemented the global IT PMO and governance process for portfolio and project management from project
