• Responsible for total coordination of all projects assigned to the team from design
development to complete contract documents. Ensured quality standards consistent
with latest construction techniques. Projects included ADA and building renovation of
the Oakland and Highland Drive, Pittsburgh VA Hospitals; shopping center/office
development; assisted in the working drawing preparation for a 12,000 sq ft medical
office building; 28,000 square ft. Veterans Administration laundry facility; completed
numerous preliminary presentation and construction drawings for speculative
offices, residential condo projects and as-built drawings for a 15,000 square ft.

• Created a system of organizing specific details for a $26M Veterans Administration
Hospital project; thereby simplifying the design and construction drawing process.
The project contained 2,200 windows, which were surrounded by numerous
materials and various types of construction.
• Developed construction drawing bidding packages for 17 Hills Department Stores,
which involved both renovation and new construction that provided 75% of the
architectural firm’s annual income for two years. Completed two major ($8M) School
renovation projects. Supervised the design team, coordinated internal staff, client
needs, and construction.
