Experience (deepwater)

2005-Present MI-Swaco Schlumberger Drilling Fluids Consultant International

Division. This experience has allowed me to develop my technical and team

skills. I am used to working in a fast paced industry where it is critical

to communicate in a concise and professional manor. My offshore experience

over the last 12 years has been almost exclusively in deep and ultra

deepwater operations on 3rd, 4 th, 5th and 6th generation Semi Subs and

drill ships. I have hired on as client fluids advisors in the Ivory Coast,

Russian Republic and Vietnam for CNRL, EXXON and Cuulong as an ExxonMobil

fluid representative. Although this job was challenging and committed to

success and safety and the cost efficiency of the fluid program.

2014- 2015-Luk Oil-Romania-Helena 1X and Helena 1X and St-01. First

Exploration well and side track for Luk Oil in the Black Sea. Well was

Vertical in nature. There were no offsets, poor pore pressure data and

massive losses were encountered. FAS products were pumped. Losses

encountered were in excess of 300 bbl/hr at 800 gpm. LCM protocol was

followed. Reduced losses to 7 bbls/hr with no less than 5 LCM pills

and Form A Squeeze. Final losses were healed with Cement Plug as well

was thought to be Fractured. The data and information I provided was

essential on deriving new mud weights and casing points for the side

track well.

SR. Drilling fluids for MI Swaco-Development Driller II. 215 m water

depth. 3 Vertical exploration wells. Spud, pump and Dump, Versa Vert

LTOBM. 8.8 to 16 ppg.

2014-Vietnam-Cuulong Energy. Worked as Client Mud Engineer on Jackup

Glaveston Key. HTHP horizontal wells. KCL polymer with NACL and Sweeps

for Main hole. This was challenging as the 8 inch interval was

drilled in granite and required drilling at balanced pore pressure

with NACL and hi vis sweeps.

2013 to 2014-Israel/Cyprus --Noble Energy - 4800 ft water depth. Spud

and KCL polymer main hole. Ensco 5006 Semi-Sub Pride North America.

2012 to 2013-ENL -ExxonMobil Fluids Advisor Russian Republic (Sakhalin

Island) Parker 162. Acted as Rig Site Exxon Fluids Engineer with

Russian Night hand. Wells Drilled 24" section WBM 4 Wells (Z41,Z42,Z43

and ZGI 3). All wells were batch set conductor and 24" holes with WBM.

Z 43 and ZGI 3 Were drilled and completed to depths of 12,340 m (TVD

2496 m) and 13,250 m. BHCT was in excess of 104 C for these extended

reach wells. Challenging work, and completed on budget and time.

Completions consisted of running 145 micron screens in filtered

drilling fluid with a Diesel displacement prior to handing the well

over to production.

2012-Israel offshore for ATP Oil and Gas-MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Fluids

Engineer. Shimshon 1 for ATP Oil and Gas. 3600 feet water depth on

Pride North America (Ensco 5006). Drilling fluid was a 10.5 ppg Pump

and dump for spud. Primary mud system was KCL Glycol/IdCAP. 12.2 ppg.

2011-2012--Romania Black Sea for ExxonMobil-MI Swaco Sr. Drilling

Fluids Engineer. Surmene 1 Re-entry. Mud system, VersaClean LTOBM up

to 15 ppg with Guar Gum and Polymer Pad mud for Pump and dump surface.

This well was completed and logged with no reported hole problems.

Nearest offset well 100 km away. Water depth was 6600 ft. This was a

tight margin ECD well. Rig was the Drillship 7th Gen. Deepwater

Champion.

2011-Turkey Black Sea- MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Fluids Engineer. Exxon

Mobil Turkey BV TPOA. Exploration drilling no offsets. 13.5 complexity

scale for XOM. Most complex well drilled by Exxon Mobil to date. 7250

ft water depth. Vertical well and testing program in place, no

margins. Mud system Versa Clean up to 15 ppg LTOBM with Gel Pad mud,

Pump and Dump. Rig Deepwater Champion Transocean Drillship 7th Gen.

2010-2011 Angola - MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Fluids Engineer. Esso Angola.

2 Plug and Abandon and 1 lateral well. 4,002 foot water depth. Mud

system Versa Clean LTOBM with Gel Pad mud. RIG TLP-A Esso.

2010 - 2011 Libya - MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Fluids Engineer. The first

offshore exploration wells for Exxon Mobil Libya. 2 vertical

exploration wells, 3,800 ft and 6,800 ft water depth. Nearest offset

over 100 miles away. Mud system Versa Clean with Gel Pad mud and Guar

Gum sweeps. Mud Cap Drilling method utilized in able to TD. Pump and

dump was utilized on surface hole.

2009- 2010 Ivory Coast - Drilling Fluids Superintendant CNR

development; 5 Development lateral wells 1 work over, 3,600 to 3,900

ft water depth. Mud systems VersaClean and VersaPro, OBM's PST

systems with polymer spud. Included completions and testing. Gabon

project was also monitored remotely while overseeing the development

in the Ivory Coast.

2009-2010 Nigeria - MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Fluids Engineer. Rig Homer

Ferrington Noble for Exxon Mobile, 4 directional wells (3

exploration 1 HTTP), 3,000 to 6,200 ft. Mud systems Paradril with

Polymer spud. Including completion and testing.

2008- Congo - MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Engineer. Rig - Stena Tay, 3

directional exploration wells for Total, 6,800 ft to 7,200 ft. Mud

systems Paradril with Polymer spud. Including completion and testing.

2006-2008 Nigeria - MI Swaco Sr. Drilling Fluids. Rig - Stena Tay, 9

Wells (7 exploration, 2 lateral development) Total operator, 4,300 ft

to 6,750 ft. Mud systems Paradril with Polymer spud. Including

completion and testing.

2005-2006-Nigeria - Record water depth. Transocean Deepwater

Discovery, 2 Exploration well for Petrobras. Mud systems Paradril

with Polymer pad mud. Water depth 8,959 ft.

2005- Ecuador - OXY Petroleum. 10 land wells directional. Amine water

based mud system. H&P 108 and 104. Q Max Drilliing Fluids.

2004-2005 Ivory Coast - Sr. Drilling Fluids Engineer. Rig -

Transocean Richardson, Ivory Coast 10 well exploration project for

CNR Drilling, testing and completion. Mud systems Versa Clean, Versa

Pro, PST Mud. Water Depth 3,600 to 4,900 ft water. Lateral to 90

degrees, 3,000 to 4,000 ft.

Gulf of Mexico - Shell Exploration and Production Co. 6 wells, all

exploration. Mud systems, PHPA, Nova Plus and EMS 3000 Water depths 2,500

ft to 9,223 ft. Deepwater Nautilus 5th generation Semi Sub.

2003-2004 - Operated as a Drilling Specialist for through M-I Swaco for

Shell on the Deepwater Nautilus. Daily duties involved managing the ROC%

for discharges and all the permitting reporting paperwork. This also

included working with Centrifuge and hi RMP Dryer and solids control

efficiency testing.

2002-2003 - Following this field assignment I accepted the Compliance

Engineer Supervisor Position in the New Orleans office. I was responsible

for a 1 million dollar start up budget in the initiation of this new

division. My staff levels steadily rose from 18 to 32 Engineers over the

first year. I was solely responsible for budget, pricing allocation,salary

decisions, training and industry education. I also interacted with the EPA

and the Industry work group that interpreted the new regulations and

developed a software platform for the documentation of our data for

submitting to the MMS and EPA.

2001-2002 - I transferred from M-I Canada to M-I's Deepwater Division

located in New Orleans, LA. I worked as a night Drilling Fluids Engineer on

the Deepwater Nautilus. Working with Shell Offshore Inc.

2000-2001 - Initially I was assigned a Drilling Fluids Engineer position

in Ft. St. John B.C. and was one of two northern area representatives.

Various systems that I was exposed to were, Gel Chemical, Gel Polymer

PHPA,GYP Gel Chemical. This posting duration lasted approximately 1 year.

Software Skills

ONETRAX 1.4, Virtual Hydraulics 3.0, APEX Discharge Tracking, Shell

Discharge Tracking Database.

I am also versed in MS Office XP.

Additional

I have worked both in Canada and Internationally with people of all

educational and ethnic backgrounds and have had no problem building a

professional and personal working rapport with them. I am a team player

with a knack for coming up with innovative solutions.
