. Participated in laboratory studies focused on Microbiology for

. Responsible for collecting samples and processing them in a

microbiology laboratory within the university.

. Focusing on environmental problems like the effect of global warming

and decrease of the ozone layer. Particular concentration was given on

the effects of high temperature and ultraviolet rays on the

biodiversity of marine bacteria.

Tutor, Inter American University of Puerto Rico, San Germ n Campus, (2009-

2011):

. Personal Tutor for Science Students in biology, microbiology, animal

and plant science. The tutoring sessions lasted from one to two hours.

They consisted on assessing the needs of student's understanding

biological science during the semester.

Volunteer, United State Department of Agriculture (USDA), summer of 2007:

. Assisted in initial field data collection and inventory

. Prepared and updated geological reference data for maps for 2007 EQIP

contracts, including assistance in the use of Global Positioning

System (GPS).

. Supported field lay-out for conservation practices such as contour

guide lines, fencing, irrigation pipeline, etc.

. Completed official document environmental evaluations required for all

conservation plans.

. Worked with geographic information system using maps and

Toolkit format (Arc-GIS) within the Natural resources

conservation service (NRCS).
