As a member of the Lee School community and staff (M.Ed. field placement), work daily to improve multiple behaviors;
collaborate with mentor teacher (Caroline Hanlon), deliver regular lessons in math, social studies, reading and writing;
prepare for last-minute substitute teaching within any elementary grade; implement various UDLs and IEPs; work
closely with 9 ELL students to improve academic and social fluency; use data to drive math intervention groups and
individual achievement and lead guided reading groups at various levels.
Girls on the Run Boston November ’11-Present
Communications & Event Coordinator, Head Coach
Responsible for the planning and execution of a bi-weekly, group-based curriculum which incorporates discussion and
exercise in order to promote positive social, emotional and physical development among girls ages 8-12; implemented
the program in the Boston Public School system beginning with the Eliot School worked to build wellness,
confidence and emotional strength in groups of 10-20 BPS girls each season; work to maintain email communications
and coordinate all 5K and fundraising events.
