Responsible for providing systems configuration and support as well as developing custom business
solutions utilizing Object Oriented and Internet Technologies. The specific projects include :-
Main tasks involved to provide enterprise solutions during the merger of the Interport
Communications (an ISP) with RCN. Primary responsibilities include setting up of web servers,
Netscape commerce servers, writing Perl and Java scripts for automation and DR. Planning and
formulating strategies so that the transition for RCN went smoothly. This involved porting their
existing C++ code for the commerce server’s applications on to NT machines. Automating the whole

As team leader for the Fame Relational Gateway project, managed and developed the FAME
Relational Gateway 1.9 which is a Sybase Open Server written in C. This open server provided the
relational view to the object-oriented FAME databases which allowed the user access to the FAME
Timeserver databases using Transact SQL. FRG was accessible by any Microsoft tool that was ODBC
3.1 complaint and with JDBC. The Gateway was also accessible to the Sybase Adaptive Server, Sybase
SQL Server. Developed and wrote a complete automated installer shell script for FRG in Korn shell.
Provided third-level support to the clients on issues related dealing with the queries (Transact SQL )
Converted the Fame Relational Gateway (FRG) as an object timeseries database in the FAME
database.
Implemented TimeIQ (now known as FAME Java Toolkit) FAME’s object-oriented Java programming
interface for their Time Series Databases.
