Workforce Specialist Lead 11/2013 – Present
E.A.R.N. Program through EDSI Lancaster, PA
Responsible for assisting adults within Lancaster County who receive public assistance with locating and retaining
employment. Duties include but are not limited developing their skills on job searching, resume writing, various
interviewing techniques, as well as one on one counseling with clients who have difficulty with time management in
relation to their seeking employment. Currently managing a caseload of 60 men and women from enrollment, to job
retention, and lastly the termination of services. Promoted to Workforce Specialist Lead after one year in the position.
Duties increased to overseeing all case management aspects for the EARN program and the newly integrated Work
Ready program. Also responsible for data entry and tracking of participants who were involved in the dual enrollment
process as well as increasing enrollment of participants involved with occupational skills training.
Behavioral Health Worker 11/2010-8/2013
C.A.T.C.H. Philadelphia, PA
Responsible for monitoring the mental and behavioral patterns of school age children between the ages of 6 – 14 with
in a classroom environment. Duties includes but are not limited to observing classroom behavior and interaction with
peers, teachers, and the behavioral health worker. Instructed to make sure that if required, student receives his or her
medication from the nursing staff. Report to all group and individual counseling sessions that the client will need to
attend. Documenting all the actions and behavior of the client throughout the day and reporting those findings to the
lead clinician in order to assess and provide the client with the best possible treatment.
Security Officer 11/2009- 7/2013
Drexel University (Through Allied Barton) Philadelphia, PA
Responsible for the safety and security of students and faculty of Drexel University. Duties included patrolling several
facilities owned by Drexel University which consists of the main campus as well as the medical buildings throughout
the Philadelphia area. Instructed to check the maintenance of fire safety devices, automobile damage, monitoring the
behavior of visitors to the different facilities, as well as a number of other responsibilities.
Internship 1/2009- 9/2009
Ready to Work Program PA Careerlink Lancaster, PA
Facilitate the entry and progress of adults from ages 18-55+ into a program that helps strengthen their educational
skills in mathematics, reading comprehension, and visual graphic comprehension. Assist supervisor in testing clients’
abilities in these specific areas in order for them to raise their hire ability for future employers. Completed daily case
notes, providing written documentation of clients progression in the program. Since January of 2009, there have been
over three hundred and fifty graduates who have completed the program successfully.

Assistant Manager 9/2005 – 9/2006
Hess Express Convenience Store Lancaster, PA
Conducted managerial duties in the absence of the manager. These duties included but were not limited to payroll,
inventory and restocking, supervising and delegating duties to other employees and providing managerial support to
other Hess Express convenience stores within the area. This was a high volume high functioning work environment
with approximately 150+ customers daily.

Volunteer Experience
YWCA: Day of Commitment 9/2008 – 11/2009
Lancaster, PA
The Day of Commitment was designed by the YWCA to encourage people to come together from different
backgrounds such a religion, race, and ethnicity to and promote diversity and understanding of others by sitting down
for a night of dinner on November 5th (2008). Responsibilities included recruiting adults to take place in the dinner,
creating a list of local restaurants in the Lancaster area where they would meet. Also, there were folders arranged with
the members of each group member, their contact information, and a prayer that was to be read by all members of the
group. In total there were more than 50 members in the Lancaster area that participated and gave successful feedback
about the experience they had shared on their day of diversity.
The Arch Street Center 2/2008- 5/2008
Lancaster, PA
The Arch Street Center is a social atmosphere designed for adults with severe mental health issues and emotional
problems. It is a supportive environment for people of Lancaster county that if referred, and meet others in similar
situations and build friendships through group interaction and activities. Responsibilities included serving food
during the lunch and dinner hours, traveling and monitoring the adults during recreational outings, as well as a number
of other fulfilling tasks.
Boys and Girls Club 1/2006- 6/2006

Supervised school aged students after school by forming study groups, organizing crafts and activities, as well as
arranging sporting activities.
Carl Poff’s T-N-T Wrestling Camp (Summers Only) 2000 – 2006
Lock Haven, PA
Taught wrestling technique to children from ages 5-18 from all over the country at Lock Haven University in
Pennsylvania. From July of 2000, until August of 2006 there have been over 3000 young men and women who have
come through the program successfully. Athletes that came through the T-N-T Wrestling program continued their
growth in the sport by competing at the junior high and senior high school level. Other responsibilities included
coaching, training, as well as monitoring the athletes during their stay at Lock Haven University.
