management, 10 years as an environmental professional and AutoCAD Technician. His
experience in the industrial hygiene discipline includes indoor air quality (IAQ) consulting,
surveying facilities, assisting with property condition assessments/recommendations, asbestos
abatement and construction project management.
He has also managed and provided oversight for performing bulk sampling analyses using
polarized light microscopy. Mold assessment/consultant, asbestos assessments, surveys,
project monitoring, general abatement oversight, personnel and ambient air monitoring. AutoCAD
experience includes project setup/design, generating graphic presentations, develop design plans
/ models based on project specifications. Established standards for drafting (layer names, line,
character styles, drawings, window/file names for sheets). Preparation of complex 2D site layout
plans. Utilize sketches, notes and other inputs (from engineer) to complete drawings with minimal
supervision. Drawing and design for preparation of floor plans/site drawings for Asbestos Hazard
Emergency Response Act Regulations (AHERA) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plans for
Houston Independent School District (HISD), Spring Branch Independent School District (SBISD)
and Cy Fair Independent School District (CFISD).
SELECT PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Dallas Love Field Demolition & Construction, Love Field Modernization Program
Dallas, TX
Asbestos surveys and abatement of materials prior to demolition and reconstruction of major
regional airport. Due to tight schedules, initial surveys and design had to be completed within a
30-days. Duties included contract administration and supervision of field personnel, providing
contractor oversight and monitoring during the abatement. Created drawings to scale and
incorporated all specified factors and points using AutoCAD. Provided review and design
assistance to senior draftsman.
Former DALFORT Facility Remediation & Demolition, City of Dallas, TX
Asbestos survey and environmental assessment of 500,000 square foot facility contaminated with
heavy metal dust for demolition. The extent of contamination was unexpected and project involved
consulting with the City and other governmental entities to determine allowable exposures and
need for the facility to be sealed prior to demolition. Project was reviewed by Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA) due to its location on an operational regional airport property. Duties
performed over the course of the project included supervision of field personnel performing
contractor oversight and monitoring during the heavy metal decontamination and subsequent
asbestos abatement. Created comprehensive drawing in AutoCAD referring to available notes
and hand drawn sketches.

NAVFAC SE ID/IQ, NAS Kingsville, Texas – Oversight of asbestos survey, assisted with
property condition, environmental assessment and the collection of roof core samples on multiple
buildings. Sample data and field descriptions were used to develop handling procedures for
asbestos containing materials (ACM) and determine feasible roof replacement engineering
requirements. Prepared separate site plan drawings for project (floor, wall ceiling) using
AutoCAD. Developed drawing package for bid project, other special assignments and revised
drawings as needed to incorporate necessary changes.
Mold Remediation - City of Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Performed initial and in depth mold inspections due to Category 3 water intrusion. Assisted and
participated in property condition assessments. Supervised removal of water-damaged surfaces,
clean up of mold infested materials and elimination of water intrusion or condensation.
Supervised contractors, assisted in development of specification for mold remediation,
assessment of city and county building facilities, moisture mapping, water restoration consulting
activities, bacterial sampling for E.coli/Total Coliform (in conjunction with a Certified Industrial
Hygienist) and performed post-mold/Category 3 remediation and inspections. Prepared separate
drawings for site plan project as required using AutoCAD.
Mold Remediation - Hurricane Dolly CAT Response Team – Southern Texas
Assisted in environmental inspection and remedial clean up following Hurricane Dolly. Performed
mold inspections and water intrusion studies. Supervised and participated in removal of water-
damaged surfaces, mold clean up and control, elimination of water intrusion and the cleaning of
ductwork. Supervised mold remediation, clearances and inspections. Prepared separate site
drawings for project as assigned using AutoCAD.
Hydrogen Sulfide Testing
Performed measurements of indoor air level for Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) using a calibrated
electrochemical monitor for compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration
(OSHA) acceptable concentration and American Conference of Governmental Industrial
Hygienist's (ACGIH) recommended Threshold Limit Value (TLV).
Legionella Sampling
Performed collection of cooling tower and showerheads in compliance to OSHA’s Water sampling
Protocol. Created comprehensive drawing referring to available notes and hand drawn sketches
in AutoCAD.
Drywall (hydrated calcium sulfate) Sampling
After complaints of a noxious “rotten egg like” odor was reported, damage and corrosion to
structural and mechanical systems such as air conditioner and refrigerator coils, copper tubing,
faucets, metal surfaces and electrical wiring. Performed collection of drywall (hydrated calcium
sulfate) samples for analysis of strontium sulfide and associated “off gassing”. Prepared separate
drawings for site plan project as assigned using AutoCAD.
LEEDS Testing
The IAQ testing in general accordance with Environmental Quality Credit 3.2 of Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating Systems for the existing building, Operations
and Maintenance, Version 3 Reference Guide (which reference the LEED IAQ “sampling criteria”
referred to as EQ 3.2) consisted of performing an indoor air quality assessment that included
testing for carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, temperature, relative humidity, formaldehyde, total
volatile organic compounds, and biological “mold” testing.

Malathion Testing
Performed sampling for Malathion exposure in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA).
Environmental Inspections – Houston Independent School District - Houston,
Texas
Performed asbestos inspections, project management and air monitoring for schools undergoing
major renovations/demolition. Drawing and design for preparation of floor plans/site drawings for
Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act Regulations (AHERA) Operations and Maintenance
(O&M) plans for 30 schools over the past seven years.
Environmental Inspections – Spring Branch Independent School District – Spring
Branch, Texas
Performed asbestos inspections, project management and air monitoring for schools undergoing
major renovations/demolition. Drawing and design for preparation of floor plans/site drawings for
Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act Regulations (AHERA) Operations and Maintenance

Performed asbestos inspection and sample collection for 15 buildings on campus site, delivery of
comprehensive drawing referring to available notes and hand drawn sketches in AutoCAD,
drawings specifying location and quantities of material for abatement.
Environmental Inspections – Bank of America / Trammell Crow - Eastern United
States
Performed asbestos inspections at bank branch locations across Texas. Providing survey,
reporting and client database input for a national assessment program for hundreds of inspections
performed during a short duration. Created comprehensive drawings referring to available notes
and hand drawn sketches in AutoCAD.
Environmental Inspections / Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) - City of Houston, Texas
Inspected over 100 residential houses purchased by the City of Houston for expansion of Bush
Intercontinental Airport. Collected asbestos and lead samples, delivered to lab for analysis.
Provided air monitoring as well as project management services for various Houston Parks and
Recreation Department locations. Preformed Carbon Dioxide (CO2) prevalent level sampling at
City Health Department.
