Working closely with the Hospital Director’s at North East London NHS Treatment Centre, St

Mary’s (Portsmouth), Southampton and Will Adams (Gillingham); contributing and providing

accurate, timely and business focussed commercial HR advice to operational management

within the units. My principle duties and responsibilities are:

• To manage and actively participate in the delivery of HR services based firmly on

business needs and to agreed targets and deadlines

To work closely and alongside operational management to improve the recruitment

and retention of staff at all levels

To provide accurate and commercial HR advice to managers on the application and

interpretation of Care UK HR policies and on operational case work

To ensure that HR policies and procedures are disseminated and interpreted correctly

To work with the unit operational teams, divisional HR and Group HR as appropriate,

to ensure a training needs analysis is undertaken at the Centre and that a training

plan is generated and delivered incorporating both management development and

mandatory training compliance

Assist the local management teams to meet all regulatory requirements relating to

statutory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission.

Employee Relations Project Manager

• Project Managing a Change Management project, involving 1500 colleagues

throughout the Home Delivery Network covering the whole of the UK.

Ensuring the project plan deadlines are being met and communicating and engaging

with all key stakeholders throughout the project and attending board meetings on a

weekly basis.

Currently I have 10 Employee Relations Advisors and 4 HR Administrators reporting

into me and working closely together as a team to ensure meaningful consultations

meetings are being done in a timely manner.
