Medical interpreter. 2007 to Present. Independent medical consecutive interpreter, in Hospitals, Physical Rehabilitation Facilities and Doctor’s

Office settings. Community consecutive interpreter in schools and Maryland Social Services.

Student Services Assistant. October 2005 – to September 2014. This was an intermittent contractor job occurring 5 to 8 times a year. I was part of

a multi-cultural team group, providing administrative and technical support in the areas of personnel, logistics, control and oversight. Serving as a

facilitator to support logistical, academic and participant requirements, involving senior foreign representatives, both civilian and military, from Latino

American and Caribbean countries attending various professional development seminars organized by the William J. Perry Center of Hemispheric

Defense Studies, National Defense University/Department of Defense. I actively supported 3 international conferences (Cartagena, Colombia;

Bridgetown Barbados; Santiago, Chile) and innumerable domestic conferences (Atlanta, GA; Palo Alto, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Washington DC).

Program Manager and head Spanish translator. November 2011 – December 2013. This was a part time consultant job with the USDA-FSIS-US

Codex Office. Occurring two to four times a year. I was the head Spanish translator, in charge of translating documents, standards, and power point

presentations generated by an international organization. In my specific task as a PM I worked closely with a team of translators, managing all the

documents generated in French and Spanish.
