Participated and managed two people in the planning, testing, and
implementing of a government-funded million-dollar grant of a system-wide
technology upgrade project for two elementary schools. Responsible for
designing and implementing wireless a network across five city schools
including the central office, which enabled the EdTech grant the ability to
have internet everywhere, not just in the classroom.
. Designed & implemented a wireless network consisting of off-the-shelf
hardware, which saved the school system an estimated 10,000 dollars
and allowed them to utilize a technology that they did not think they
could afford.
. Worked with computer venders to find the most cost effective price for
new computer hardware using grant money that was allocated for new
computer purchases.
. Trained staff on new hardware, aided with integrating the new
solutions with their day-to-day work (lesson plans).
. Guided the department to a more efficient means of managing large
system quantities by using ghosting software.
. Steered the department to a network approach to machine management
with the use of network-enabled Deep Freeze.

of the issue as well as the solution.

system along with bar code checkouts.
. Took charge of the research that enabled the school system to move to
an Active Directory environment.
