Provide fiscal, clinical and administrative oversight to multiple non-profit organizations who have been awarded
ongoing VA funded grants to provide transition housing programs and other services for homeless veterans.
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing all initial inspections for newly a warded grantees of VA funded GPD
programs and facilitating all annual re-inspections to ensure ongoing compliance with national standards required for
clinical, medical, police and structural safety.
Developed the first comprehensive, region-wide outreach protocol to ensure tha t all veterans, including those who are
exceptionally difficult to reach are identified and offered services.
Initiated the only VA Hurricane Sandy relief effort immediately following the storm to reach the most vulnerable, at
risk veterans. Secured food, water, blankets, flashlights, first aid and procured mobile units and gas to deploy basic
resource to veterans in Staten Island, Far Rockaway, Red Hoo k and Coney Island.
Conduct monthly case conferences with veterans residing in GPD programs to ensure that the goals of the veterans and
the program are being met. Conduct all initial assessments of prospective veterans for program admission to ensure
clinical appropriateness for GPD programs.
Advocate on behalf of veteran to remove multiple systemic and bureaucratic barriers hin dering them from receiving
care thus significantly expanding homeless outreach by developing relationships with community, city, academic and
non-profit partners.
Ensure monthly compliance with all program performance measures set forth by national GPD program office.
Provide clinical supervision for professional licensure of VA employees as well as non-clinical supervision and
oversight to multiple staff affiliated with the various different GPD program.
Maintain quarterly budget, oversee monthly billing for multiple programs and provide fiscal oversight to ensure
programs do not exceed budget allocation.
Track program admissions and discharges and report weekly on census on regional and national le vel through various
tracking programs such as Excel, HOMES and CPRS.
Participate in and coordinate a number of community boards, meetings, summits, committees and councils including the
Homeless Executive Council, quarterly GPD meetings, local and regional Homeless Summits.

community at least twice a month.
Completed research documentation to determine effectiveness of comprehensive treatment program with respect to
