• Managed the preparation and review of

• Managed the installation of the ELITE
software system and subsequent upgrades, providing enhanced reporting, billing, and

250,000 square feet of office space nationwide.

office space and the construction/build-out of additional space in the New York office (5
floors and 86,000 square feet)
• Designed and implemented a revenue
forecast system and related client exit system to measure budgeted hours and manpower
requirements in real time.
• Designed a capacity planning model to
budget the Firm’s human capital, control and maximize staff utilization, and minimize
related payroll costs.
• Authored Firm’s expense management
policy, establishing a system of approvals, resulting in significant decreases in costs post
adoption and implementation.

Reported to the Chairman and CEO. Responsible for all financial and administrative areas.
• Developed and implemented new strategic plan that moved company away from a
lower margin commoditized business model to higher margin, value-added revenue
streams. Plan involved the closure or sale of less profitable operations, the acquisition of
new operations, and the creation of new strategic alliances. The plan also included a
complete operations review and a resultant turnaround plan to decrease operating costs
and increase margins
• Negotiated a restructuring/refinancing of bank borrowing agreements, establishing
greater fixed term and working capital lines together with less onerous terms and
conditions.
• Designed and implemented a budgeting and reporting system that created,
amongst other things, a system of accountability for the separate operations and
managers.
• Established accounting department discipline by reorganizing functions, preparing
job descriptions, and retraining staff.
• Created an exception reporting system which correlated shipments with invoicing.
Identified short-billed shipments by specific products. The result solved shrinkage
problem, reduced erroneous invoicing, and eliminated book to physical write-off
