management of 45 skilled tradesmen (electrical, mechanical & tool &
die). Responsible for safety, budget implementation of overtime and
indirect materials planning. Collaborative planning with production
for all tooling and machine upgrade/project work. Provide technical
support to the various production processes of injection molding,
stamping, and tool room equipment. Implementation of Predictive and
Preventative Maintenance schedules.
Manufacturing Engineer 1989 - 1991
> Manufacturing Engineer responsible for integration of Resistance
Welding Equipment, including PLC'S GE, AB, all components, drives,
Robots, and conveyance equipment. Process all auto parts into Motor
Compartment of Saturn Car through the utilization of OD sheets, time
studies, and 5s.
Electrician - Future Tooling Programs 1986-1989
> Primary electrical/controls contact for future tooling programs. Daily
communication and interface with Saturn's advanced manufacturing
engineers, national and international tool shop venders. Responsible
for monitoring/tracking contract agreements established with tool shop
