Project Description
The Murex EoD support, user requests, and change controls are managed on a
daily basis. Interacting with BAs to know the business needs and
elaborating on the technical side and other intricacies to achieve business
goals.
The project demands a sound knowledge on Datamart administration, Actuate
reports, MxML and Market Data
Most of the jobs are in the Scheduler and the good understanding of
Sysadmiral is essential from the project perspective.
Working for the Migration project of Precious metal trade from in house
product to Murex 3.1.32
The project involves the WALLSTREET Systems FX and Money Market support
running on 4.3 and 5.01 versions. The support involves the Close of Area
monitoring, interaction with BAs for various issues, solving deal related
issues, and report generation and all other environment related issues.
Roles and responsibilities:

the support from Melbourne to have a better understanding of the current
system and later migrated to support from OTSS Bangalore ANZ.

Project: OS Migration from Windows 2K to Solaris 10 for Murex application

Project Description
[pic]Shinsei bank is the leading bank in Japan. The Murex application
currently running on Windows 2K is to be migrated to Solaris 10 because
Murex is no longer going to support their new release on Windows. Murex
suggests that the latest release from Murex Version 36, V36 is stable on
Solaris. The initial tests are very crucial. The confidentiality of the
users and the integrity of the data are to be preserved with high priority.
From the Solaris perspective, the security features are high.

The R&D centre of EMC in MindTree has two projects - EMC networker and EMC
autostart. Both projects require the uninterrupted availability of the
servers to generate the build. The user authentication is done through NIS
and the NFS cross mounts are involved.

Project Description:
Worked for a US based client called TravelCLICK. This company is basically
a service providing organization, more focused into online hotel booking
and online reservations. The service is provided to the hotels and to the
end users.
Roles and responsibilities:
Worked as the primary contact for UNIX and storage when placed onsite. The
job involves the support to all Solaris and Linux servers and installation
of new software if there is any requirement from the client.
6.Client: OCWEN FINANCIAL SERVICES

Project Description:
This Project is for the Ocwen Financials. The Company is basically into
mortgage loans with other 2 clients. The remote administration is involved
extensively. The servers are located in three different locations of the
globe with High end servers and EMC storage.
Responsibilities:
. Performance Monitoring of all the servers running on Solaris 8, 9 and
10
. Monitoring and trouble shooting of storage
. Providing more space to the file system
. Creating new space and mounting the file system with the newly created
space
Major Assignments:
1. Three V490 servers running on Solaris 10 is degraded to Solaris 9 and
after the O.S installation the Q-logic, PowerPath and VERITAS FS and VxVM
installed. Once the servers are into life, Vormetric box installation done
and the servers are made as the clients to the Vormetric box.
2. For the security reason the sudo installed on all the backup servers
and the data centre operators are allowed only to start and stop the net
backup.
3. Three V880 servers running on Solaris 8 and under the VCS 3.5 control
are made to be out of the VERITAS control. Here one of the 3 servers is
going to be de commissioned. That is the whole intension of breaking the
VERITAS cluster control.

on behalf of Satyam. The project includes SBI and its 7 associated banks.
The application server is Broad Vision and retail banking is running on IBM
Web sphere Application Server. The web server is Zeus.
