Currently working as junior consultant clinical oncologist in SUT ROYAL HOSPITAL,Trivandrum.
This is a 150 bedded tertiary care centre for Oncology and Cardiology primarily and allied subspecialities.
I work with padmasree Prof.M.Krishnan Nair,the founder director of REGIONAL CANCER CENTRE one of
the premier outstanding institutions in INDIA for cancer care and research.
I have worked here in this institution twice starting out as a registrar in 2010 for about an year and now form
august 2013 onwards.
I am primarily part of our team which includes three of us including Dr.krishnan nair..we make it a point to
discuss difficult cases together to reach a consensus and otherwise take independent decisions.
My revered senior has been kind enough to note this in my experience certificate that ‘i am capable of holding
any senior position in oncology’
I do on a regular basis all oncology procedures including bone marrow biopsy,lumbar puncture,pleural
aspiration etc
I attend to all emergencies and decides on managing them single handedly.
I supervise other doctors in emergency and icu regarding management of cancer patients
I am completely capable of working unsupervised and in fact single handedly mans the clinic whenever my
revered senior is out of place which includes taking treatment decisions.
