Maintenance Trainer
This is a newly built Infiniti Engine Plant that is a Mercedes/Infiniti Alliance Plant. This plant Machines and
Assembles Engines to be used in Mercedes C Class built in Tuscaloosa, Al. and the Infiniti Q50 built in Japan.
Responsibilities/Accomplishments
Utilize Mitsubishi Integrator experience to assist Engineering and other Maintenance Trainers with
understanding and applying program changes. Nissan changed from using GE to Mitsubishi for this new plant
so there was very little Mitsubishi Experience within Nissan.
Teach class with newly hires Maintenance Technicians for Mitsubishi Basic PLC Troubleshooting
Create Training Documents (SOS) in Power Point to be used for training classes as well as files for
inexperienced Maintenance Technicians can use for troubleshooting, calibrating, or replacing defective
hardware on machinery.
Work with Network System Engineering at Nissan to develop PLC Logic to pass 2D Barcodes scanned from
Blocks, Pistons, Heads, and many engine parts to verify parts are OK to use as well as Serial Number
assignment from Scheduling. Our PSS System gives us 100% traceability on every critical part installed to the
Engine as well as all Tester Results. This system also generates reports for OEE of every piece of Machinery.
Travel to OEM Machine Builders in the US and Germany to approve of Machinery prior to shipment and to
receive training for how to maintain the new machinery.
Modify PLC, HMI, Robot, and Vision programs to correct problems as they arise. Make program
modifications to accommodate new Model Variants, Cycle Time Reduction, and Line Side Job Rebalance.
Complete MBR’s and develop Counter Measure’s to prevent unnecessary downtime in the future. Nissan
requires 5 Why Analysis to every Major Break Down.
Completed many training classes and certifications from Fanuc, Lab View, Mitsubishi, Cognex, Siemens, FEC,
Keyence, IFM, SMC, and many Calibration procedures from OEM Machine Builders.

Responsibilities/Accomplishments
Helped company become Certified Mitsubishi Integrator which secured work with Bridgestone Tire.
Main responsibility was upgrading systems that were originally built with Hitachi, or Allen Bradley and replace
them with Mitsubishi.

Programmed first Tire Assembly Machines to use Mitsubishi at Bridgestone in Morrison, TN. These pieces of
