project teams, product development and contract manufactures.
Prepare component/part specifications and provide second sources where possible.
Provide risk mitigation plans for sole and single source parts;
Coordinate component failure analysis and corrective actions with suppliers, research new
components and suppliers for cost reduction/availability and EOL.
Create and maintained Source Control Documents and Approved Parts Lists.
Identify root cause and countermeasure issues if component issues arise.
Ensure product ability, quality, cost, and company standards are achieved.
Worked on global requirements to ensure products meet current RoHS, WEEE, and
REACH requirements.
Close working relationship with component vendors/reps.
Traveled to Taiwan OEM vendors to verify process and products were met.
Create manufacturing drawings, work instructions and SOP procedures to support both
internal and contract manufacturing customers.
Managed worldwide certification program to ensure product submittals will globally meet all
regulatory standards and labeling requirements (UL/CSA, CE, FCC, etc.)
Worked on Corrective Action Requests (CAR) and Non-Conforming Material Reports.
Understands GMP and ISO 9001 requirements and standards.
Exhibit good verbal and written communications skills.
