A jet engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility with $300M+
annual sales, 15% return on sales, working in both the military and
commercial jet engine marketplace.

Director - Business Operations and CFO
Accomplishments
. Drove cost out of the business as evidenced by a ROS of 7.5% in 2007
climbing to 35% in 2011.
. Acquired and assisted with the standup of a second location in
Montreal, Canada in the jet engine overhaul market in complimentary
engine lines with San Antonio in 2013. Currently consolidating
financials across the sites.
. Leaned out all processes from a military environment to a commercial
environment as the company transitions into commercial jet aviation
markets.
. Challenged all systems utilization and embarked on a complete ERP
system replacement in 2012. Replaced accounting systems in 2014.
Operational in 2014.
. Developed the strategy for and obtained Capital funds for the
development of 5 new commercial engine lines in 2011-2014. Complete
and ready for production.
. Reorganized the rate structure from one of overly complex to a simple,
competitive, single rate business, resulting in a 30% overhead
reduction in cost.
. Reorganized the Business Operations organization to be effective,
strong and responsive to internal and external customer needs, with
20% cost savings.
. Continuously challenged the organizations members to become the very
best they can be by coaching, mentoring, providing stretch assignments
and special projects to develop them to their fullest capability.
Responsibilities
. Responsible for setting strategy, vision, policy and direction of the
company as a critical member of the executive leadership team. Daily
responsibilities include leadership of all business and financial
functions of Accounting - GAAP compliance, Finance, FP&A, Audit and
Compliance including Sarbanes/Oxley requirements, Contracts
Management, Legal, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Subcontract
Management, Estimating and Pricing, Customer Support Services.
Additional duties include reporting to the Board of Directors bi-
annually, setting the Long Range Plan, Operating plans and budgets and
reporting quarterly financial status to the Corporation. Also
responsible for leading the Strategic Plan for 1, 3 and 10 years
plans. I have a working knowledge of FAR/CAS and interface regularly
with DCAA and DCMA on our Gov't contracts; internal and external
auditors on non-Government contracts.

A Maritime Systems and Sensors (MS2) Line of Business, averaging $200M of
sales per year, involved in the design, development, systems integration
and fabrication of a variety of sophisticated defense related products,
software and systems.

. Responsible for tactical, operational and strategic leadership of the
site in the absence of the Vice President and General Manager who
traveled extensively in pursuit of new business. Disseminating company
vision, mission statement, strategies for success and goals that maximize
customer satisfaction and company objectives.

Accomplishments
. Led an overhead reduction tiger team focused on overall rate reductions
to keep the business competitive that resulted in multi-million dollar
savings in the first year and projections for steady state savings of
25+% of overhead cost in subsequent years.
. Performed due diligence, acquisition analysis and restructuring
scenarios, as required for all M&A candidates, resulting in 10X growth
from $.9B to $9B over a 10 year span.
. Led the recovery of the financial health of the site as measured by sales
volume and ROS exceeding a compound annual growth rate of 10% per year
over the past three years and ROS in excess of 10% targets for the past
seven years, averaging over 14%.
. Led the Facility Sale/ Leaseback effort to successful conclusion in 2005
for significant savings of $3.7M being realized annually in 2006 to
present.
. Led the realignment of the business in 2006 to combine the Akron
Simulation and Training market segment with LM Orlando based Simulation
and Training business, allowing Akron to concentrate and grow the
remaining portions of the business more in line with our strategic
vision.

. Functioning as lead member of the Vice President and General Manager's
Senior Leadership Team as the Finance Director (CFO), consulting and
advising the General Manager on matters of policy, strategy, mission
success and daily operations of a very complex portfolio of high
technology products and services with both domestic and multiple
international customer base always focusing on customer satisfaction.
. Evaluating organizational structure for operating efficiency and
effectiveness. Providing leadership to change the culture to one of
inclusion. Initiating, coordinating, publishing, and monitoring
procedures consistent with company policies.
. Exercising responsibility for the conduct of all business operations and
finance activities in strict compliance with company policies,
procedures, ethical conduct, and the law.

Director - Finance and Business Management
. Monitor key financial and programmatic metrics of ROIC, ROS, CPI, SPI,
EBIT, etc., to assure continued health of the business focusing on sales,
orders, costs, profits, investments, resources and cash to meet and
exceed company objectives.
. Assure business operations, finance and accounting, program management,
contract management, cost estimating and pricing are cost effective and
responsive and the proper controls are in place and operational to meet
company objectives, customer satisfaction and ensure fiscal health.
. Motivate via broad-based assignments, professional work environment,

mentoring and communication of organizational objectives, standards of
performance and conduct with an eye toward retention of critical skills
and positive employee motivation.
. Support new business acquisition processes through analysis of
opportunities, costs, risks, direct and collateral benefits, short and
long-term business impacts and the due diligence process.

Program Director Vertical Launch ASROC (VLA)
. As the program director, successfully led the negotiating team that led
to award of the development, qualification and flight test program,
leading to low rate initial production of the VLA anti-submarine rocket
program that today is the mainstay of business for the site with domestic
and international business that carries significant overhead absorption,
ROS, backlog and an EBIT stream in excess of $225M over the life of the
program to date.

Manager Cost Control / Earned Value Management System
. Responsible for design, software selection, training and implementation
of the site EVMS system
. Awarded tri-service validation of the company EVMS system still in use
today.
. Altered the culture of the site, pushing acceptance of earned value
techniques to the program and IPT level.
