Senior Manager Human Resources, Franklin, TN July 2012 to present
Responsible for the operations of the HR Shared Service function. This includes the HR
Call Center and the Benefit Operations area.
• Supervised 7 HR Call Center Reps. Reorganized department to sustain call volume
for over 15,000 employees and retirees throughout North America.
• Reviewed, consolidated and updated all HR Policies and implemented a team
consisting of HR Business Partners, Business Transformation and Legal. During this
time, created a “one voice” Nissan policy on Leave of Absences, Vacation, & Virtual
Office. At one time, there were multiple policies on these issues at each affiliate.
• Created metrics to evaluate calls received, First Call, 48 hour response, quality, etc.
• Created a work environment within the HR Shared Service area where employees felt
empowered and worked together, bringing down the walls between the two groups.
• Participated on the Benefits Team to review new programs for each fiscal year.
Sr Manager Human Resource Business Partner, Franklin, TN July 2006 to July 2012
Responsible for all HR operations within the sales & marketing organization, this included
the sales regional offices, Corporate HQ in Franklin, TN and our Toronto, Canada
operations. Over 1200 employees were serviced by my HR team.
• Supervised 10 HR Managers throughout our sales regional offices and HQ.
• Supported the US sales regions in New Jersey, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, Virginia and
California. This included management of our sales consultants in 46 of 50 States.
• Managed all HR initiatives for our Canadian operations in Toronto.
• Managed the recruiting project for the sales & marketing division in 2005-2006.
Nissan relocated its corporate HQ from California to Tennessee. Over 60% of the staff
were not able to relocate. We were able to hire all positions prior to July 2006 when
we opened in TN.
• Managed all Employee Relations investigations within sales & marketing and
throughout the regions. Interfacing with legal and business units.

• Transferred & created the corporate development tool used in California to the
Tennessee operations in manufacturing. This tool (Career Vision) became the
cornerstone of our current Talent Management department.
• Interfaces with key manages in each business unit to create an Action Plan following
the annual Employee Survey. This promoted our engagement activities with managers
and employees to be part of the solution.
• Supported the Sr Vice President, 6 Vice Presidents and over 20 Director level
managers in sales & marketing, developed strong business relationships.
Corporate Manager Human Resources, Gardena, CA September 2000 to July 2006
Based in Southern California, promoted from the Regional HR Manager position.
Responsible for all HR Operations within sales & marketing.
• Supervised 7 Regional HR Managers, 2 Corporate HR Managers and an Admin Asst
which managed all internal and external selections at National HQ and the regional
sales offices.
• Initiated new and innovative programs supporting personal and career development
goals by encouraging managers to conduct engagement meetings with staff.
• Conducted annual training programs related to performance management, coaching,
employee relations/sexual harassment, and leadership.
• Managed the Job Posting program and policy which filled over 250 positions a year.
This included overseeing a relocation budget of approximately of $9M with 200 moves
a year.
• Developed a college recruiting strategy to staff the Consumer Affairs entry level
function.
• Developed a plan to staff all positions that were not relocating to TN once the
announcement was shared with all employees. Worked with each department Director
to identify areas of concern and plan for timely hires to replace.

Responsible for the staffing, employee relations, training and development of employees
in the Nissan & Infiniti sales office. Also supported the Chicago Parts Distribution Center
and the Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation, the captive financial arm of Nissan.
