I have dedicated nine years to successfully developing and managing a large safety program with approximately 500
employees in 31 locations throughout 14 states. Under my leadership the company has consistently maintained an
average of 4 recordable injuries per year (average IR of <1) in an industry where the average is 19 recordable injuries per
year (average IR of 3.8). This corresponds in a savings of at least $1,056,126 per year resulting in a minimum total
savings of $9,505,080 over the course of 9 years (OSHA’s Safety Pays Program). I believe the key is to work effectively
with both management and employees to create a culture that establishes core values and emphasizes safety as an
overriding priority.
