Safe drinking water-with EPA standard of 5ppb for Trichloroethlyene (TCE) testing revealed three wells to be shut down. Researched and installed a new aeration tower which reduced 42 ppb down to 2 ppb.

Researched and procured a recycling machine for antifreeze to reduce hazardous materials and wastes resulting in a first year cost avoidance of $11,750.

Studied and wrote contract requirements for a thermal distillation machine to lower the waste stream. Resulted in 98% reduction with cost avoidance at $18,000.

Hosted the fielding and training of Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) Recovery System which resulted in a 39% reduction of waste stream - $741,000.

Disposed of 104 tons of abrasive blasting material annually in support of vehicle repair program. Purchased washed river sand as an economical alternative product to achieve 30% reduction and a cost benefit of $5,240.
