I am an Accountant with more than sixteen years of accounting experience.
I feel I am a perfect match for the position of Accountant.
Here is a description of how my experience.
Job related experience My experience
Excel/Microsoft Office 15+ years
Quickbooks 3+ years
Financial Statement Preparation 10+ years for multiple
companies
Payroll 7 years
Account reconciliation 15+ years
Financial Analysis 12+ years
Account Payable/Account Receivable 7+ years
Management
You may have noticed that I have almost all of my experience in automotive
retail business. I understand that this is different from your industry,
but I feel I have the ability to bring my experience to your business with
fresh ideas from the automotive retail business. I have had the privilege
of working with the managers in the different departments to develop
processes, procedures and analysis of production to operate their
respective areas. Because I have worked with these managers on those
areas, I have been able to develop forecasts for those departments to help
them make better decisions that affect the company's profit. I had changed
jobs to the Nursing Home industry were I was assisting the Controller with
multiple homes. Here I was asked to work with the various managers of each
home and help bridge the gap between the different corporate accounting
functions. Now I am working as a bookkeeper/Project Manager for an
Industrial Painting and Blasting company.
The reason I have been jumping around recently is that I am trying to find
that job that I can call a career. A few years ago I was convicted of a
felony (Unlawfully Taking) that has really hurt my career as an accountant.
All I am looking for is a company that will allow me to show/utilize my
skills to help them grow, show a future for me where I can call it a career
and where both the company and I can continue to move forward and help put
my past behind me.
I am currently making $22 per hour. Salary can be discussed at interview
but my biggest concern is getting back into my career in an organization
that can give me a chance to prove myself.
I would welcome the opportunity to further discuss my skills, this position
and my background. If you have questions or would like to schedule an
interview, please contact me by phone at 724-***-**** or by e-mail at
***********@************.***. I have enclosed my resume for your review. I
look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Robert A. Frazier

Re: Letter of Reference for Robert Frazier
To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Robert Frazier (Rob) for over three years; first as a member
of my church, and then as a valued employee of our company since June of
2009.
On Monday, January 23rd, Rob asked to speak to me, as a company owner, and
Dean Rippee, Rob's Supervisor and CFO, about something personal. We met
with him that afternoon and he proceeded to tell us that he had taken money
from his previous employer. Rob did not make any excuses for his behavior
nor did he deny responsibility. In fact, Rob was very contrite and humble
throughout our conversation. Dean and I could not have been more surprised
by Rob's confession because he had only demonstrated complete and total
honesty, integrity and strong moral character during his tenure at Quality
Life Services (QLS). Rob acknowledged that he was a much different person
during the time he worked for his previous employer than he ever was as a
QLS employee. Although his remorse and regret was quite evident, he had
obviously come to place of peace with both the sin and the consequence.
Rob's employment with QLS was terminated the following day due to a
prohibited offense policy that is required by The Department of Health
which oversees and regulates long term care organizations. If it had not
been for that regulation, Rob would have likely remained a valuable
employee and asset to our organization.
I strongly believe that Rob will be okay with whatever the courts decide.
He seems to have accepted, with grace, the consequences of his action. He
has also genuinely sought grace from the truest and most sincere grace
giver - Jesus Christ. However I also believe that Rob is, as he stated
himself, a different man now than the one who was admittedly deceitful and
dishonest with his past employer. I believe that he has learned a lot from
his mistakes and, although he deeply regrets the harm he caused, he is a
better man because of the lessons he's learned.
I humbly and respectfully ask that Rob Frazier be granted a generous dose
of both compassion and leniency.
Sincerely,
