Maintape, Cranbury, NJ - Coating and Press Operator

September 2014 - Present:

. Laminating temporary adhesive of carpet tape, automotive protective

tape for the hood, roof, trunk and front and rear floors

. Setup of coding machine for operation

. Mixing proper adhesive of water and catalyst/water ratio

. Assistance with applying the adhesive to the material which is a form

of polyester/Mylar/plastic

. Installation of Meyer Rod from job to job and I ensure the coating is

applied evenly and proper coating weight

. Once coating process is finished, check for proper coating weight

. Assist with splicing of material with automatic roll to roll rotating

arms

. Changing of finished rolls and installing new empty cores

. Palletize rolls when job requires

. Adjust web guide to the proper width of the material for each job

. Print labels for the finished rolls for inventory and customers

. Operation of forklift (sit down and standup) with a reach pole

. Operation and setting of die molds, 20-200 ton Minster high speed

stamping presses, two 60 ton Bruder high speed stamping electronic

presses, all of which required six months of training and after 3

months, operation of two presses

. Operation of robot that connects rings on wire machine, and set up of

tooling for this wire machine

. Operation of inspection gauges required for inspection of pressed

rings, height indicator, bevel gauge, micrometer, Vernier caliper and

section gauge

. Operation of Vision System Software which

digitally inspects the rings
