• ECOM Consulting Inc. specializes in Information Technology Staff Augmentation in both public and private
sectors. Specifically hired as Vice President to lead the company in managerial and marketing roles, including
promoting the company’s capabilities, finding new clients, and satisfying all the compliances mandated by the US
Government.
• Bid and closed contracts with Department of Information Recourses (DIR), State of Texas Information Technology
Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC), Harris County, Fort Worth ISD, Dallas ISD, University of Massachusetts and
several other entities that led to significant revenue growth for ECOM. Had to prepare and present several proposals to
secure more business for ECOM.
• Managed up to 102 consultants with their projects, placements, weekly status reports and quarterly performance
evaluations. Managed projects for clients in various sectors, including Google, Microsoft, AT&T, Capital One,
Disneyland, and several companies in the fields of insurance, energy, etc.
• Conducted business development activities including marketing the company, networking and signing up new
clients.
• Managed all day to day requirements of ECOM consultants including oversight of their projects and client
relationships.
• Had overall control of in house responses to queries and questions from US Customs & Immigration Service office
as 90% of consultants were on H1 B work permit visas.
• Responsible for office supervision activities including maintenance of general work place decorum and business
ethics as well as sanctioning leave, work from home, and all other personal leaves for company personnel.
• Was terminated as a result of the company being sold (effective as of 01/01/2015).
• Pursued the recognition of the company by different entities that resulted in ECOM being recognized as the
Minority Business of the Year by North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA), Minority Business of
the Year by Dallas Business Journal, and Immigrant Entrepreneur of the Year by Badmus Law Firm. This involved
preparation of presentations to the entities involved.

MCV Associates, Inc. is a Traffic Engineering firm based out of Alexandria, Virginia that was evaluating

opportunities to expand beyond their established area of business. Was hired as Vice President to establish their
Texas Branch and had complete authority to manage and operate their business. Helped launch the company’s
operations in Texas and created a multi million dollar business. Construction is currently underway in the DFW
area with a $4+ billion investment by a client, and all related studies prior to construction were conducted by MCV.
As an experienced transportation planner, succeeded in helping international companies expand into Texas.

Opened MCV’s Texas branch office by hiring and managing a workforce of 18 personnel focused on conducting traffic

studies that were essential for multi billion dollar investments by clients.

Reasons for leaving MCV: Texas Congress opposition to toll ways had a negative impact on traffic engineering firms,

many of which have closed down since 2007.
Developed and nourished a business relationship with International Companies that were vying for projects in Texas.

NCTCOG is the planning agency for all of North Central Texas and specifically the DFW Nine County metropolis

region. The Transportation Department of NCTCOG is responsible for planning all Highway facilities in the
region.
Participated in teams to plan the entire network of Managed Lanes in the DFW Metropolitan Area.

Participated in planning toll road projects including Sam Rayburn Toll Way, LBJ Express, NTE Express, and Chisholm
•
Trail Parkway from IH 30 to Cleburne.
Attended an International Symposium in Florida to understand the feasibility of inducting Managed Lanes as part of a

strategy to mitigate congestion on Freeways in The US.
Part of the planning team for the planning and constructing of the High Five Project – a high profile project as mix
•
master at IH 645 and US 75.
Interned as a transportation planner from November 1997 to November 1998 to statistically evaluate 3,000 household
•
surveys to determine the average travel time by nature of trip.
Was key member of the planning team to initiate and dedicate the first HOV/Managed Lane pilot project in DFW from
•
Dallas to Arlington on IH 30 Involved in making reports, putting the project in the 2020 Mobility Plan, and several
presentations to authorities to convince them of the feasibility and success of this pilot project. Had approval from
Federal Transportation Department to get the project off the ground. Part of the process was to identify and establish Car
Pool lots in Arlington.
