I’m submitting an application for the ENGINE CADET position at your company. For your
information,I have been completed my Diploma in Marine Engineering last year . I also have
finished all the STCW certificates such as Designated Security Duties (DSD),Ship Security
Awareness (SSA),Basic Training (BT) and Basic Training Oil and Chemical Tanker training
(BTOCT). I also have all the necessary documents like Seaman card, seaman record book,
passport and all of them still in valid date.
I’ve been looking for all the shipping company for me to onboard ship as a cadet to complete
my sea time so that I can move to the next level in my carrier as a competence marine engineer

OBJECTIVE
My objective is to get an placement for me to onboard a ship as a cadet engineer to complete
my one year sea time so that I can learn and have experienced more about be ing a seafarer

WORK EXPERIENCE
- Work at the Uncle Bob franchise as a part time worker in 2014 and 2015.
- Undergo practical programme at Kuantan Port and operate two tug boat (MV Bera and
MV Kuantan) in assist vessel to the port from January 2014 to June 2014.
- Do the maintenance to the generator.
- Start the main engine of MV Kuantan ( air starting system)
- Do all the maintenance regarding to the all auxiliary system in MV Kuantan.
- Follow the operation of the tug boat to assit all the vessel whether in to the port or
anchoring outside port.
SKILLS
Mechanical skills - Marine Automotive Engine, Marine Diesel Engine, Refrigeration,
Marine Industrial Boiler and Turbine. Also able to handle several of
machine such as lathe machine, drilling machine and milling
machine.
