PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Barclays allows its customers to transfer funds within a country and within European country where Barclays has

its presence (SEPA). Customer can perform the credit and debit transfer from Barclays using the IBM

Ecommerce product, ‘Sterling file gateway and MY file gateway’.

The project was about testing the Bulk payments going through Barclays successfully. Including the

Swift messages, Faster payments. Complete C2B (Customer to Bank) and B2C (Bank to Customer) flow

tested in each releases.

Release 1:

Responsibilities:

• Performed a role of Functional Tester and Module Lead for End to End testing.

• Identified maximum number of High priority and Critical defects along with good test case execution.

• Performed Functional, positive, negative, regression, verification and validation testing.

Project Description:

• Client processes the payment file from the Client ERP System and the file passes through DCP (Data

control processor) and then BEM (Boundary Electronic monitor) and finally to the country system.

Release 2:

Responsibilities:

• From this release onwards started working as Module lead.

• As a Module lead, was involved in the Client, BA functional flow activities to understand the functional flow

of the module.

• Preparation of Test plan and given a walkthrough of the Test plan to stakeholders.

• Review of the Test scenarios and test cases of team and managed the Review log for Tracking.

Project Description:

• A new product introduced in this release called ‘Sterling File Gateway and My File Gateway and

payments were processed from application.

• When the payment Files are processed by Banks, system generates the Account based Reports.

Release 3:

Responsibilities: (CIT Lead for Release 3 and Release 4)

• From Release 3 onwards started working as CIT (Component Integration testing) Team lead.

• Involved in understanding the business requirements from the start of the testing cycle and attending all

the weekly calls, Triage calls regarding the project updates from Client

• Preparation of test plan and walkthrough of the test plan with the final signoff from all the stake holders.

• Sending a MI Report, DSR (Daily status report), WSR (Weekly status Report) to the Stake holders.

Project Description:

• File Gateway processed payments from Mobile banking application called ‘Pingit’ as a pass-through.

• File Gateway processed Sepa payments which were reaching to ‘Sentenial’ as pass-through.

Release 4:

Project Description:

• Each payment file will be processed with Protocols (Connect direct, FTPS, SFTP and Ebics)” in system.

• New file formats introduced such as ‘payext and paymul’ for UK payments file and ‘control and Bansta’

for the PSRs.

Morgan Stanley smith Barney is a group of investment banking. Access AU’ was the project where MSSB has

launched one website where client can manage his portfolios.

Responsibilities:

• Prepared Test scenarios and Test cases from Use Cases provided by BAs.

• Performed Smoke, Black-box, Positive, Negative, Boundary Values, Functionality, Integration,

Regression, System, Performance Testing.

• Maintained the Defects and Test cases in Quality center.

• Prepared the Test data for interpreting the Positive/negative/regression results based on the

requirements.

Project Description: There were 4 main tabs/modules for this website.

• Portfolios: After logging in, client can check his portfolios along with Market rates and researches.

• Manage: The securities, equities, shares will be displayed with details.

• Markets: Current Market rates for the shares, equities will be displayed in this section.

• Research: Research pages will show more details about the market research and client search.

Software Turnover (STO) Document and Functional specification Document and identifying, logging and

tracking defects using SILK (MKS Integrity client 2007)

Project Description:

• Global Store POS Upgrades: Testing was performed to achieve PCI security compliance, and avoid any

security breach or hacking into the customer info database.

• Poland Store Project: Tested this TKMaxx chain project successfully and also, got the fiscal printers

ready as per the polish government.

• ComboStore: Tkmaxx combined their stores ‘Homesense and Tkmaxx’ and opened this combo store.
