• Lead equipment technical team for new product expansion-

o Scope of responsibilities included VSM and capacity driven equipment requirements, scope

and budgeting of new, used, and existing equipment. Initiation fo engineering design,

calculations, funding details, milestone and detail scheduling, procurement, and resourcing

strategies. Recruiting and technical oversight of in house, and contract resources during the

Coordinated cross functional response plan, and wrote, reviewed, or implemented actions in my area.

Examples included disaster recovery, obsolescence planning and GMP backup and recovery plans.

• Lean flow facilities design lead for new washroom and new

compression suite. Hosted process mapping through design drawings. Site contact for daily

construction contractors and job walks.

• Define and implement the OSi-Pi data collection system by

• Shutdown Coordinator for site facilities and equipment

installations, while being sole install and qualification engineer for 10.

o Verified operation image with production and process, defining layout to achieve

maintainability and safety requirements.

o Defined, purchased, and performed upgrades for refurbishment and enhanced process

capabilities. Customized front end handling systems and MES communication protocol

configuration and testing.

o Defined all facilities and startup protocols for process validation. Including detailed start

up schedule and plan for verifying tool process performance.

o All systems in mass production and factory start up was successful.

o 24 direct contractors reports and over 100 sub-contractors reported to the I lead projects.

• Lead area engineer during site lean transformation to integrated Toyota parts supplier.

• Lead the area lean OEE team for full factory OEE evaluation. Attended week long OEE intensive

training, performed OEE model generation and data review.

• External Supplier auditor for process parts cleaning. Audited existing suppliers and potential

suppliers for process control, technology status, material flow and contamination control. Founded

relationship with new supplier that reduced part defects and increased process performance with

new cleaning practices.

• Revolutionary chemical resistant seals champion. Negotiated evaluation agreement and

coordinated the inter-departmental team to test and determine best suppler for our applications.

Solution was adopted corporate wide.

• Initiated Predictive Failure scheduled maintenance for all dry vacuum pumps.

o Initiated and managed data collection programs for over 300 systems in our factory.

o Using the data collected, determined standard operating conditions and set parameter based

PM criteria that reduced operating costs by over $2 million per year.

• Initiated and managed multi-department inventory reduction project saving over $500K in five

months. Project included usage projections, cost benefit analysis and future production usage

considerations.

• Project Manager for next generation high-density plasma system installation. ($3.5 million

equipment and $750K facilities installation investment)

o Negotiated and specified logistic and technical purchase details, including cost reductions

and support contract details.
