I am a fast and eager learner. My previous job duties have allowed me to oversee and

My key responsibilities as a service manager was to provide an exceptional service experience.
I mainly dealt with customer and employee related problems and handled any escalated issues. I
was in charge of monetary duties that included counting down the drawers, depositing net cash,
replenishing the change bag when needed, and writing out checks for our distributers, as well as
handling pay check problems and distributions for the employees. I was expected to schedule
and conduct preliminary interviews, and recommending any potential employees to salary
managers. I completed different business forms for employees like post hire packets, pay
advances, etc., and filed various paperwork in an organized fashion. I was responsible for our
paper supplies order every week and handled any problems with shortages in food or paper
supplies. I oversaw training mostly in the cashier department for employees and shift leaders
and I oversaw production for the entire restaurant, ensuring that everyone was doing their job.
08/2011 – Training Assistant Manager, Waffle House

At Waffle House, I trained for a management position as Assistant Manager. I was trained in the
proper grill line assembly, food procedure and handling. I learned how to cook a variety of
dishes, as well as multi-task in preparing these food. I also worked as a Sales Person (or
waitress) who took food orders and properly executed them in the Waffle House manner. I
prepared food for the next shift, took inventory, and ordered products from a list. I also started
learning how to begin scheduling and payroll requirements.
08/2010 – Customer Service Representative, National Electronics Warranties

As a Customer Service Representative, my job duties included answering and helping Best Buy
customers with their purchased products. I inquired on what issues they were having with their
purchase, did minor troubleshooting over the phone, and concluded what could be done in their
situation or set up for at-home service. I also gave out warranty information that was relevant
for them, gave advice on which products would best fit their needs, and relayed certain
information to managers or supervisors that the customer requested. Most of the data was
found through search engines, which required diligent researching to provide correct
information. I often de-escalated situations in where a customer was angry about their situation
or set up, and strived for customer satisfaction.
11/2009 – Car Hop/Assistant Manager, Sonic Drive-In, Crestview

My job duties as a carhop included taking customer orders and filling them, prepping food that
went with their order, preparing drinks and ice cream, completing monetary transaction and
checking up with the customers once their orders have been filled. I also skated while
employed at Sonic, so some of my orders allowed me to entertain customers with simple
skating tricks. Other job requirements were keeping the lot, prep area and drink station clean as
well as refilling front counter condiments and materials such as straws, cups, napkins, etc. My
training for assistant manager included duties such as prepping food before cooking, grill skills
and requirements, being knowledgeable in proper food handling and stocking procedures. I took
inventory of things that were needed in the store and learned how to order items.
10/2007 – Crew Member, McDonalds

At McDonalds, I prepped, cooked, and assembled food. I was able to work the register for back
drive through and the front counter. I also assisted the manager on the floor with employee
breaks and positions. I trained new employees in food prep, cooking, assembling on the food
line. I did opening duties of the restaurant, making sure that food was in stock and prepped, as
well as closing tasks.
